Extatosoma tiaratum (Phasmatodea: Phasmatidae) or Macleay's spectre is a species of Australian stick insect. They are great pets that requires low maintenance, but don't live for long. I feed them gumtree leaves and sprayed water on the leaves once a day.
My lab mate gave me a pair of female and male, telling me that I can either rear them for a while or kill them for collection.
