The cruise part 4.

The cruise part 4.

Mar 17, 2025

Lorenzo's Point of View

"They're really good," I said to myself.

Until now, we hadn't really talked about boxing, so I had no idea how each of them fought. But this sparring—if it could even be called that—had given me an idea of both of their styles.

Despite being just a sparring session, both of them charged with a lot of energy, you could really tell they were trying to knock each other out.

Their combinations weren’t anything out of this world, but even so, watching the clash between these two vastly different styles truly excited my heart. Different? Could I really say that? As the fight progressed, the differences became less and less noticeable. If it weren’t for their physiques, I could easily say that they were the same boxer.

The fight went on a little longer until both of them finally made their decision—the next punch would be the last.

Until now, I had seen David’s calculated counterattacks push Joan to the limit, but neither of them seemed capable of knocking the other out. But if they both put everything into a single punch, perhaps a knockout was possible.

"The unstoppable force against the immovable object." This seemed to be that kind of situation—only, perhaps it would be more accurate to call them two unstoppable forces.

Finally, both of them launched forward. David went once again for a powerful overhand, while Joan, from below, threw a massive uppercut. This would be decided by whoever landed their punch first.

I couldn’t look away for even a second when suddenly… The fight was interrupted by the sound of an alarm.

Both Joan and David missed their punches due to the sudden noise and ended up crashing into each other.

Following the loud noise, a voice echoed throughout the cruise ship.

"All boxers must report to one of the dining halls—dinner is waiting for you."

After this announcement, I turned my gaze to the ring, where I saw a disappointed David sighing next to an angry Joan, who was cursing at the speakers.

I couldn’t help but laugh at the scene.

WWe made our way to a dining hall after calming Joan down and declaring the fight a draw.

This cruise was very interesting. Despite there only being fifty of us, we were split into two dining halls.

"To avoid long waits for dinner" I supposed.

Once inside, we were surprised by the place. It was a really spacious dining hall, large enough to accommodate everyone on the cruise.

"How much money must they have spent to build two of these?" David said, astonished.

We then approached one of four food counters, all of them already filled, and at the back, we could see several chefs preparing more food.

Each of the counters was attended by kind women who welcomed us with a smile. The feeling of calm that I hadn’t experienced since boarding this cruise was truly comforting.

Dinner looked delicious—French fries accompanied by a choice of chicken, beef, or salmon. Nothing too fancy, but for a group of young people, taste always comes first.

During dinner, we talked a little about the sparring match and the cruise itself—this was an experience none of us could have ever imagined living through.

"The cruise, the sports facilities, the dining halls, the kitchen, reception, and cleaning staff—how many millions did Fernández spend just on transportation alone?" David said with a sigh.

As we talked, I discovered that David’s family also had quite a bit of money, but even he couldn’t imagine something like this.

As I laughed watching David trying to calculate Fernández’s immense waste of money, my gaze drifted toward one of the girls in the kitchen. She seemed younger than the rest. I barely managed to notice the black color of her hair when I was snapped back to reality by Joan, who was about to finish his meal.

After dinner, we were given free time again. Even though I would have loved to go to bed early, I decided it was a good opportunity to enjoy the cruise with my new friends—and who knows, maybe even make new ones.
