The thing about Abbasian tradition, is that couples marry when they're in the age between 25-30 because once they finished their education at the age of 20, they get to spend at least 5 years of luxury before they get to take their duties as married couple, parents, grand parents, and great parents till the age of 100-105.

The reason for this is that it is their duty, and honor that children must be cared, loved, and raised till they reached adulthood and married at the age of 25-30, the same goes for their grand children, and great grand children.

That means those in the military are not allowed to go to war until they accomplished their hundred year duty. That goes the same for those who are set on an expedition.

Their duty is that they finish School, University, Getting married at the age of 25-30, taking care of their children, grand children, and great children until they all reach adulthood and married. Hence the title Hundred year duty.

Once it is done, they can spend a decade of luxury and later begin their next duty as expendables to dangerous task such as war, or expansion to unknown and potentially dangerous systems. However, their bodies are programmed to be efficient workaholics so it is not surprising if they concluded their experience in luxury a lot early or outright ignore them to continue working for the glory of the Abbasian empire.

Even though this is against the Abbasian tradition to get the married couple to commit to their duties of being expendables before finishing their hundred year duties, Akif and Duha are needed for their expertise. The Abbasians will ensure they're rewarded and honored on high regards once they reach their new home planet.

Expansion, camaraderie, martyrdom, morality, and family. These are the define traits of the Abbasians, the most powerful and adaptable humans created by a man name Abbas-A-Saud. The Arab war god.

After the desolation on Earth caused by the final world war in the early 26th century, the Abbasians left earth with 500 million of its people on 5 titan void ships. Each carrying a hundred million to travel 600 light years away from the solar system to start and expand a new galactic empire.

Despite being biologically enhanced super humans, will it be enough to overcome the harsh realities of the galaxy? The horrors? The destruction? And power of hostile Xenos?

One thing is certain, the Abbasians never accepts any defeat. For only through extinction, are they defeated.
