As for the new character introduced in this episode, their inspiration comes from the Taiwanese urban legend of the Red-clothed Girl (a.k.a. Mountain Spirit or Móshénzǐ). In local folklore, she is said to appear in the mountains and is often blamed for mysterious disappearances. Interestingly, while the legend is well-known, there’s no universally established design for this entity—so I took the liberty of creating my own version!
