The assistant, travis, was waiting for Lira in the throne room

Lira walks up to him as he speaks

“Well hello my princess~ here to watch my-”

Lira stops standing shoulder to shoulder this him

“I am here for my father, travis”

Lira pulls him back a bit but not enough to make him fall backwards

“I will not be coming to your coronation travis”

Lira sits on her fathers throne as the blood moon rises behind her

“Because you will never be the true king but I AM! THE TRUE QUEEN!”

Bright red eyes shine slowly coming out from behind the throne revealing raven

“You must be travis I’ve heard MUCH about you travis”

Travis runs up on raven trying to intimidate her

“You back off servant! This is for royals only!”

Raven puts her hand on travis’ chest

“But last I remember you are not a royal but a less than a servant”

Raven pushes travis making him fall on his butt

“My princess? Is it time?”

“Yes, my knight”

Raven opens the door for Lira and travis

“I’ll see you in your room, princess”

Raven makes her way to Lira’s bedroom taking off her mask looking at her mask and clothes floating in the mirror

Raven thinks to herself

“If only she could see me for the real me”

Raven punches the mirror Lira walks into the room and broken shard of glass cuts her face

Raven smells the blood dripping from her cut and lunges at her hungry for blood

Lira screams as raven punches herself out of the hunger for her blood

“LIRA ARE OK!?”

Lira slaps ravens hand away from her trying to quickly get out the door 

“Lira? LIRA STOP! I'M NOT!... I'm not going to hurt you”

“OH YEAH TELL THAT TO MY MOTHER!”

Lira slams the door open running to the guardsmen

“HELP! HELP VAM-”

Raven pulls Lira behind a wall covering her mouth and whispers to her

“Ok yeah a vampire killed your mother but you know what!? So did mine! My mother and father were killed by our own kind!”

Raven let's go of Lira's mouth holding her hands in her's

“And you can't tell me HUMANS never do the same, you can't tell me your FATHER never did the same” 

Lira slides to the other side of Raven hiding herself even more behind the wall

“At least HE never tried to eat people“

“HE DID! WHY DO YOU THINK HIS MISSIONS WERE AT NIGHT! WHY! WHO DO YOU THINK KILLED MY MOTHER IN FRONT OF ME FOR NoT BeInG able to kill anyone” 

Lira looked at Raven shocked at Raven fell to the ground in despair 

“The queen was killed by a vampire, yes, but your father let himself get bitten so he could find us and kill us easier…I was never in debt to him just his servant for eternity”

Raven hides herself in her knees

“I'm sorry but I need blood to live, vampires don't have any, and I've… I didn't want you to think low of me so I've been… I haven't eaten anything in 6 weeks I-I think I'm dying”

Lira gets down to Ravens level and hands Raven her hand

“I'm sure I have enough blood for the-”

Raven pushes her hand away

“It has to be from a man, a woman doesn't have enough blood for two or more people… men don't have blood waste like we women do, you know?”

Lira laughs as she puts Ravens mask back on

“Your secret is safe with me, my vampire”
