1. Loner - Scene 5

Ok, be honest with me - and I'm serious about really wanting to hear an answer - how many of you saw him being a vampire coming? :'D I know some got it while others dismissed the thought due to it being too "cliché". I really want to know: what things did you notice that tipped you off? Did you have different guesses and assumptions? (Of course, any other kind of critique is welcome too. I'm especially not confident about pacing.)
Anyway, even if it's too obvious and a common topic to do, I think I have enough to say about vampires to warrant doing this story, so I hope you'll enjoy!
I have some extras I want to draw at which point I'll hopefully have a better idea of how I'm going to schedule updates going forward.

as soon as i saw the blood-licking i guessed he was a vampire lol. but even so, i'm really enjoying this so far! i was conflicted about kay at first because damn if i were lamar i'd be so annoyed (...and maybe a bit flattered) with how nosy and persistent she is. but now i gotta say she's growing on me. i guess part of it's seeing that she does have a vulnerable side, but also has a ton of courage too. and her and lamar are too funny and cute. i'm curious to know if something happened to give her that yolo attitude -- which is why that brief flashback was interesting -- or if that's just her personality. either way, can't wait to see more!
