Hayden POV: 

It's been 3 hours since we took Cassie to the nurse. And I'm kind of mad at myself at how I handle it. Not about the letter. I just wished I could have seen her face when she read it. Right now she is sitting in the corner of the class by herself looking pissed and taking sharp glances over at me. I just make my best sorry face when she does it trying to tease her a bit. She just turned away quickly with a red face. Hey Hayden, school is almost over, said James. Yes and? So how do we get home? Good question. One second. Hey David! Yes! David responded quickly with a smile, happy that I finally talked to him today. How do we get home after school? Well there should be a carriage outside of the school that will take you anywhere you want in the city. But father said he will be waiting outside the school to take you home. I'll be with friends so i can't join you this time. Ok thanks David. David has been so helpful since I was brought to wolven. But sometimes it feels suspicious.

30 Minutes later:

The bell rings singling us that the day is over and we can head home so we leave going to where David said to and just like that uncle jack was waiting there outside the carriage for us. Well you guys had a long day didn’t you. Yes you can say that. Uncle Jack grumped. Hayden tomorrow you have an unranked match with the flame princess. So please don't do what you did today. Hey you said don't kill you never said i couldn't injure an opponent. Yes, while you can injure an opponent but don't go to that extent. Ok uncle. He put his palm over his face and quietly whispered just like his father. We get into the carriage heading home. Vee, James I need to get some training in for tomorrow. Would you help me? I asked yeah we’ll help you what else are friends for. Said Vee. yeah Vees right we’ll help you no matter what we are your friends. responded Rames. When we got home we ate something then trained until dusk. 

The next day:

Hey did you hear. No hear what the Shadow wolf will have a special live stream today. Yeah I cant believe he goes to our school now. Hey there he goes now! Hahaha i chuckle giving a slight wave at them. Hey Hayden do you find it weird that all the girls stare at you? Asked James. well James, how do you know they're not staring at you? I said James' face turned bright red. Don’t say such outrageous things. He responded while keeping his face hidden from me. Stop teasing him Hayden said Vee. What can he not take a joke. Hahahahahahahaha very funny Hayden said James. Well I guess I misunderstood the situation. 

Later in Mr.Brown Class right before lunch:

I was playing Wolfnite on my computer. When I glance up and see Cassie watching me from afar. It took her a while before she noticed that I noticed. She quickly turned her head away covering her ever so blushing face that just kept getting redder and redder. Just then my Wolfnite character died i whisper under my breath a simple fuck. Then continued to play.

Later in the school gym after lunch:

Me, Vee, and James were setting up the livestreaming equipment when I saw uncle jack walking towards me. Hayden, can I talk to you for a moment in private. Yeah sure. We head to the other side of the gym away from everyone else. Liston Cassie is the flame princess, her flame resistance is strong and her skills with the sword shouldn’t be taken lightly. I know this uncle, you think I would have accepted this challenge without gathering information on the opponent.i said with a cocky smile. He gives a warm smile, ok be careful. I will oh i need to get ready the match starts in 30 minutes. A little bit later the stadium was full of people. Hey vee start the livestream i grab a mic hello everyone before i get started i want to thank everyone who showed up today and everyone that will be watching at home thanks for your support. Time to introduce my opponent, Cassie, get out here! She walks out. Her long red hair is put in a ponytail. She had on red and silver armor on. God damn now I feel underdressed. You over here in armor and i'm here in a black hoodie and gray sweatpants hell i didnt even do my hair for this well better late than never right i said while resting shadow to do my hair how i like it and i turn out perfect my long hair gave of a slickback look but left a couple clumps of hair to curve to the black. Ok I'm ready now i said. We walked to the arena in silence. The bell rings to start the battle. I wait there waiting for her to make the first move. She launches three fireballs at me. I dodge them and she creates a flame whip in her hand. Oh, is that your love whip? I teased N-No shut up. She said with a red face. She tries to whip me lunching slash after slash at me i dodge them and cuts the grab the whip and rip it out of her hands with that it disappears i summon my sword it's a black jagged sword look like a black obsidian crystal then i put some of my mana into it and purple flames started to burn from it. Hey cassie how do you like my shadow sword lunar. Ain't it just the coolest thing you have seen sense me? Yeah she said. I lunch three purple flame covered slashes at her and she dodges them. But I was right behind her and she blocked my strike. I disappeared again over and over striking then disappearing. She blocks them with her sword no matter how fast I go. But then she trips over a crack in the ground. So reappear under her and cot her in my arms in bridle style. You ok cassie? I asked. Y-Yeah i a- okey Hayden. She says with a nervous chuckle while her face is blushing so much. Oh no i think i broke her. I said. But that was a ruse she tried to strike me with a dagger. But I didn't let her. I disappear again and quickly reappear behind her with my sword  at her neck. She swings the dagger. I smacked it away and I won the match. I put my sword back in my idem storage bag. And head over to my friends and end the livestream.
