GCS Apparatus Volume 2: Weather Modification Station (WMS) 

The Weather Modification Station (WMS) is an advanced megastructure that houses technologies that specializes in modifying weather conditions within the main capital cities of the Council. These stations are maintained by the ever righteous Galactic Council’s environmental sectors. Each WMS ensures that all citizens and visitors, irrespective of their origin, experience optimal and neutral weather conditions while preserving the balance of the ecosystem. 

Weather, for obvious reasons has always played a critical role on planets. The Galactic Council recognized the significance of the ability to manipulate weather patterns to neutral levels in order to maintain a well balanced ecosystem for its Citizens. The introduction of the concept was an ambitious goal at the time, to address the challenges posed by the diversity of weather across the planetary members. 

The WMS system consists of satellites, atmospheric ionizers, and cloud-seeding drones that detach from the WMS. A plate-like mega structure with a towering control center in the center rests above the city just below the atmosphere working to maintain and manipulate weather conditions. These stations are strategically positioned.

Satellites: equipped with the constant up to date advanced sensors and algorithms capable of monitoring atmospheric conditions in real-time across the planet. They continuously analyze data related to temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind patterns, and precipitation levels.

Global Atmosphere: The Atmosphere Ionization maintains the manipulation of the atmosphere, This enables accurate control of the overall weather across the planet. By subtly influencing the electrostatic charge distribution, the ionization facilitates gentle weather adjustments in order to create clouds or disperse them

Cloud Seeding Drones: The data collected from the satellites and global atmosphere input is then fed into the WMS’s computers. Idle drones then activate and begin to disperse a mixture of agents to create the desired weather. 

All systems coordinate to feed a stream of modified weather conditions into the area of the plate and onto to the city.

The Galactic Council's weather climatologists work aboard each WMS to ensure all systems are operating correctly.

While the primary goal of the WMS is to ensure ideal weather conditions that match all conditions of their citizens. Strict protocols are in place to avoid disrupting delicate ecological balances and to protect biodiversity of each planet.

The Galactic Council maintains strict security overviews for the WMS infrastructure from potential misuse or external threats. These devices are monitored and protected from unauthorized access by the Galactic Protectorate’s Anti-Terror Units. Regular audits and inspections are conducted to ensure compliance with ethical and environmental guidelines. In any emergency, the Chancellor will issue a quarantine event. A dome shield will cover the city until the situation is rectified.
