They really like leaving notes, huh? Well, anyway. They got their jacket back. But, “Dear”? Why did they call me dear? It’s kinda weird but eh. I pick the note up and put it on my desk when I reach my room. I look at the time and it’s 2.36 PM.
I planned to go out with my best friend Hwang Chimin, or Chichi, as i call her. I gave her that nickname not that long ago. I think it’s cute. She’s Korean and moved to America about one and a half years ago. She transferred to my school and had the same English class as me. Me; being an A student in english- wanted to help her, and I think that she’s making progress. She’s gotten pretty good at English.
I should probably get ready. So I went to my closet and found my favorite dress. A flowy maroon dress that goes a bit under the knees. The dress is decorated with gold beads at the in-built corset. I put some simple make-up on and brush my hair. I check my phone for the time. And it’s almost time. I go to messages and text Chichi.
“Are you ready?” I text her.
I wait for about five or so minutes when she texts me back.
“네, 준비됐어요. 당신은?”
Ne, junbidwaess-eoyo. Dangsin-eun?
I know korean and she’s ready.
“I’m ready. Meet you at the park?”
“OK. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶)”
I go pack the rest in my purse; phone, airpods, keys and wallet. Just in case you need it. I put my shoes on and look outside. The weather is really nice today. The sun is shining, birds chirping, the wind blowing softly against me. I start to walk towards the pack and put my airpods in putting some PLAVE on. A virtual k-pop group which I love.
I get to the park after a bit of walking, I still have the feeling of someone following me now and then but I try to ignore it.
