Zhyndor - The Chronicles of Arlen - The Legacy Of Stars

Chapter 9 - The Journey to the Portal (Part 1)

Chapter 9 - The Journey to the Portal (Part 1)

Apr 03, 2025

The Prophet's Legacy

✨ Arlen Sharim was born in the heart of the Black Sand Desert, a place where the relentless sun and sandstorms dictated the laws of survival. Since he was a child, he heard the stories whispered around the fireplace, stories of Hazzim, the great prophet of his people. Hazzim, a man with vision beyond time, spoke of a lost city in the depths of Zhyndor, where the stars touched the ground and cosmic secrets were kept. He said that only the Chosen One could access this city and restore the lost balance.

✨ The legend of the Creator's Amulet claimed that it would be the key to the Stargate, lost in the desert sands for centuries. Whoever possessed it, with a pure heart and an unbreakable soul, would be the only one capable of restoring balance. For Arlen, these stories were just distant myths, until the moment his life was turned upside down.

✨ During one of the greatest sandstorms to ever hit the desert, Arlen and his caravan became separated. Lost among endless dunes, he wandered for days until he found the ruins of an ancient civilization. Deep within these ruins, he discovered an underground sanctuary, where a sealed chamber held an artifact of spectral glow: the Amulet of the Creator.

✨ As he touched the amulet, visions flooded his mind. He saw Aurion, he saw the Aurians, and most importantly, he saw the Stargate. He knew his journey had only just begun. With the amulet in hand, he returned to his people, where the elders confirmed the prophecy. His destiny was set: he must find the portal and restore the connection with Aurion.

🌀 Arlen Sharim had always known that Aurion was not a myth. But he never imagined that his journey to her would begin like this, lost in the scorching dunes of the desert. Since he was a child, he had been fed the stories of Hazzim, the prophet of his people, who spoke of Aurion, the city of stars. However, when he was still a young man, he treated these stories as nothing more than distant myths.

🌀 But the sandstorm that separated Arlen from his caravan changed everything. Lost among the dunes, he wandered aimlessly until he found the ruins of an ancient civilization. What seemed to be just another excavation in the desert turned out to be the sanctuary of his destiny. Deep within the ruins, Arlen found a secret chamber, where the Amulet of the Creator waited. A silvery glow emanated from the jewel, and, upon touching it, Arlen was invaded by cosmic visions.

🌀 He saw Aurion, the lost city, the Aurians with their eyes shining like stars, and the Stargate, shining like a beacon between dimensions. Arlen knew, at that moment, that his fate had been sealed. He now possessed the Amulet of the Creator and had a mission: to restore the connection with Aurion and unravel its mysteries.

"This amulet... it was found in the ruins. The prophet was right, destiny led me to it."

ZHYNDOR: THE SEEKER OF STARS (Chronicles of Arlen)
Genre: High-Immersion Epic Fantasy (Steampunk × Cosmic Lore × Dark Prophecies)
For fans of: The Stormlight Archive + Attack on Titan + Dune

SYNOPSIS:
“The Stargate is buried. The gods are liars. And the Chosen One? He never wanted this power.”

Arlen Sharim—a desert nomad with no past—discovers he is the Seeker, the last hope to awaken the Aurians, an exiled race of star-born titans hiding beneath Zhyndor. But the prophecy is a trap.

To survive, he must team up with:

Leynad Asuos, a half-elf genius who can speak to machines (and may be a god).

Lysara Namtrah, an alchemist whose "healing" crystals are actually weapons.

Together, they will:
Fight biomechanical behemoths left behind by a dead civilization.
Unravel the lies of the Nihilari—cultists who worship the end of worlds.
Steal the Orb of Destiny... before Lord Veyron turns it into a doomsday device.

But the real war isn't for Zhyndor—it's for Kai, Arlen's grandson, who will inherit a legacy drained of blood and starlight.

WHY IT’S DIFFERENT FROM ANYTHING ELSE:

High-immersion style: A revolutionary storytelling technique (think Sanderson lore + Ghibli wonders + Breaking Bad twists).

Stellar steampunk: Magic is quantum energy. Airships race through liquid galaxies. Swords slice through time.

Generational trauma: Arlen’s era choices haunt Kai — literally. (Wait until you see the time loop twist.)

READ IF YOU LOVE:
Villains who aren’t wrong, just broken (Karmmenon vibes).

Found families vs. cosmic horrors (Stranger Things meets Berserk).

“WTF” reveals every 10 episodes (like a fantasy Lost).

Warning: This isn’t “just” fantasy. It’s a revolution in imagination and epic immersion!
