Around the 1920s, Berlin was a hub of cultural and social liberation. Gay venues, like cabarets and bars, provided safe spaces for the LGBT community before the rise of the Nazis. The Eldorado, a famous gay club, symbolized this tolerant era with drag performances and inclusivity.
