All the kids having run off, at last, with some degree of a promise that they won't be pursued. This means we're left with Seir still pinning Marchosias down. The dialogue may be difficult to follow - particularly with regards to stuff like "the other surviving generals" and "the next Demon Lord" - but that's okay. There's probably a lot you can infer, but even if you can't, it's intended more as vague foreshadowing for now.
The potentially interesting bit that you may've picked up on, is Marchosias being spared for his daughter's sake. When it's mentioned he repeatedly betrayed her, Marchosias utters Kaminari's name. Is this Kaminari's father? The Kaminari who defeated the Great Demon Lord, Eligos? Isn't she a princess? Is Marchosias a king!?
Curiouser and curiouser. But that's it for now. We will revisit this storyline a bit later.
Next time, and for the remainder of the chapter, we'll return our focus to the main kids.
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
