Agilan and Vinod burst through the stairwell door onto the top floor. Smoke, gunpowder, and broken tiles fill the air.
Suddenly—
Flesh Codex (system):
“Priority Directive: PROTECT — Chief Minister & Daughter.”
Agilan’s eyes widen.
At the far end of the corridor, the terrorist leader holds Aadhira (CM’s daughter), pressing a pistol to her head.
Leader:
“Monster… remove those scary tendrils.
Turn your hand back to normal. NOW.”
Agilan glances at the trembling girl, then slowly lowers his right arm.
The fleshy tendrils retreat, weaving inward until his hand becomes completely normal again.
The leader smirks—an evil curl of victory.
Leader:
“…Farewell.”
BANG!
The bullet crashes straight into Agilan’s forehead.
Vinod screams:
“AGILANNN!”
Smoke rises.
Agilan’s head jerks back—but he doesn’t fall.
He stands still… breathing.
The bullet pierced… slowly sliding out of his forehead, travelling down his cheek, down his arm… until it rolls neatly into his palm, like a melting metal.
He looks at the bullet.
Then looks at the leader.
Agilan raises his palm.
Agilan (cold):
“Its My Turn.”
He Rises his hand—
BANG!
A blast launches like a railgun. the same bullet straight through the leader’s chest.
The leader stumbles back, coughing blood… but in desperation, he points the gun at the CM’s daughter.
Leader:
“I—I’ll kill her!”
But before he can blink—
FWOOSH!
Agilan’s tendrils explode out from his arm, wrapping the leader’s arm.
He yanks.
The leader is lifted into the air.
Time slows.
Agilan steps forward, eyes burning.
Agilan:
“Let’s finish this.”
His leg swings.
S L O W – M O T I O N K I C K.
His foot slams into the leader’s stomach like a meteor.
CRACK—!!
The leader shoots backward, smashing completely through a pillar.
The concrete collapses around his body.
His corpse plummets straight through the broken floor—
WHOOOM—!
—and hits the ground floor with a bone-crushing thud.
Silence.
The remaining terrorists below stare upward in horror.
A police officer, who had followed the sound, reaches the top floor and witnesses everything. His hands shake as he watches Agilan absorb the bullet, transform, and hurl the leader to his death.
His instincts scream arrest him—
but Agilan’s aura… a pulsing, dark, hallucinating pressure… makes him step back instead. and Agilan Manipulates The Police officers Mind with his temporary crimson eye
the police man swallows hard.
Police Officer:
“…B-Boy… We-We'll protect the Chief Minister.
You Take his daughter to the ground floor. Now.
Go!”
Agilan nods once, serious.
Vinod takes the CM daughter’s hand.
The three of them begin moving toward the stairwell—
Agilan, Vinod, and Aadhira rush toward the stairwell. Aadhira’s breathing is fast and broken, her hands still shaking from the leader’s grip.
But as they descend—
RATATATATAT!
Bullets rain upward from the remaining terrorists climbing the stairs.
Vinod:
“BRO, THEY’RE SHOOTING AGAIN—!!”
Agilan spins around.
His right arm blossoms into a swirling biomass of flesh tendrils, then compresses into a thick black-red Flesh Shield—curved, hardened, and monstrous.
TATATAT!
Bullets slam into the shield and flatten like clay.
Aadhira whimpers and ducks.
Without thinking, Agilan wraps his left arm around her shoulders, pulling her into a protective hug while keeping Vinod close behind him.
Aadhira (shaking):
“Please… don’t let them shoot me…”
Agilan:
“I won’t.”
Another wave of bullets.
Something snaps inside him.
Agilan leans forward, muscles lock, and—
He charges downward, using the shield like a living battering ram.
The shield surface bubbles—
THUK-THUK-THUK—
rows of bone-like spikes begin pushing outward.
The terrorists see it too late.
Terrorist:
“What the—?”
SHRRRRAAKK!!
The spikes erupt outward, impaling the front-line terrorists through their chest, shoulders, and arms.
Three bodies are lifted off the stairs as if skewered on a giant porcupine.
Blood rains down the stairwell.
Vinod covers Aadhira’s eyes.
The shield retracts its spikes, letting the bodies drop like bags of meat.
In Top Floor, the Police Officer quickly escorts the Chief Minister, shouting commands through his radio as gunfire echoes above.
Officer (thinking):
This boy… he’s dangerous. But without him… we all would’ve died by now.
He positions the CM in a safe corner while looking up anxiously.
Agilan, Vinod, and Aadhira reach the ground floor.
The entire lobby is chaos—broken tiles, shattered glass, patients crying, staff huddled behind counters.
Police officers stand guard with rifles pointed up the stairway.
The moment Agilan steps out—
The atmosphere tightens.
Everyone feels it.
Not fear.
Not killing intent.
Something deeper.
Nurse (whispering):
“Who… is that boy?”
Patient:
“His presence… it’s hurting my chest…”
The Flesh Shield on Agilan’s arm melts back into his normal skin, but faint black-red veins still glow under the surface.
Aadhira stays close behind him, still trembling.
The police officer approaches cautiously.
Officer:
“You… you saved her. You saved so many upstairs…”
He gulps, takes a step back.
“But that thing you turned your hand into… what are you?”
Agilan doesn’t answer.
His focus sharpens, eyes narrowing.
Then The Police Officers Sucessfully took Chief minister To the ground
The Chief minister talks:
T...thank you....boy... for protecting me...and my daughter...
Agilan(Finally Talks):
Its ok, Are You- !
Something feels wrong.
The entire lobby suddenly goes silent.
A slow… heavy… echoing laugh rises from the broken glass behind them.
“Heh… heh… hehehhhh….”
Everyone turns.
A man limps out of the shadows.
Bloodied.
Bones sticking out.
But standing.
The terrorist leader.
His shirt is torn, ribs cracked from the fall, but his face stretches into an insane grin.
In his remaining hand—
A small black detonator.
Leader (smirking, voice broken):
“You thought… one kick could kill me… monster?”
Aadhira gasps and hides behind Agilan.
Vinod:
“Bro… BRO HE HAS THE—!”
The leader raises the detonator high.
Leader:
“There’s a bomb buried under this hospital.
Your kick didn’t kill me.
But this—this will kill EVERYONE.”
People scream.
Nurses collapse.
Patients panic.
The CM shields his daughter.
The leader’s thumb moves toward the button.
Leader:
“Let’s all die toget—”
Agilan moves.
Not running.
Not jumping.
He vanishes for a blink, like a flesh shadow stretching forward.
A sharp broken glass shard lies on the floor — Agilan grabs it mid-sprint.
His tendrils explode from his spine and legs, propelling him faster.
The entire room watches him move like a red-black blur.
Agilan appears behind the leader, agilan is in upside down, floating in mid air in upside down
The leader’s thumb is one millimeter from pressing the detonator.
One.
Millimeter.
Agilan’s tendrils whip from his right hand within broken glass—
SHHRAKKK!!
They slice through the leader’s wrist,
clean,
precise,
disarming him—literally.
The hand with the detonator drops.
Agilan catches it mid-air with another tendril, flinging it safely across the hall.
The leader screams—
tries to step back—
tries to breathe—
Agilan wraps a tendril around his throat.
The leader’s eyes widen as he is lifted off the ground.
Leader (choking):
“Y-You… y-you’re a demon…”
Agilan’s face is calm.
Cold.
Terrifying.
Agilan:
“You threatened innocent lives. You deserve worse than a demon.”
He clenches.
CRRRAAAKK!!
The terrorist leader’s throat snaps.
His body drops limp.
Silence.
Then—
BOOOOOOM—
Agilan’s aura bursts outward.
A giant pulse of black-red energy explodes from his body, shaking the entire lobby.
Wind whips past everyone, lifting papers, dust, broken glass.
Lights flicker.
Monitors glitch.
People fall to their knees from the pressure.
Doctor:
“My legs… I can’t even stand near him…”
Patient:
“Is he human… or something else?”
Nurse:
“I-I feel like fainting…”
Aadhira shields her eyes.
Vinod covers his ears.
Even the police stagger back.
Agilan stands still… but the aura around him roars like a beast.
In front of his eyes—
Red holographic glyphs appear.
[FLESH CODEX – LEVEL ADVANCEMENT]
Host’s emotional surge detected.
Host’s threat elimination confirmed.
Host’s evolution accelerated.
LEVEL UP
LEVEL 1 → LEVEL 4
Stats Increased.
New Passive Awakening: “Enhanced Perception.”
Flesh capacity expanded.
Agilan exhales slowly.
His aura dims.
The room returns to silence—except heavy breathing and shocked gasps.
Everyone stares at him like he is a walking divine weapon.
Aadhira looks at him with wide eyes… filled with fear, gratitude, and confusion.
Vinod slowly walks behind him.
Vinod:
“Bro… you just… scared the shit in front of everyone…”
Agilan doesn’t smile.
He just looks at his blood-stained hand.
Something is changing inside him.
Something big.
But for now—
Everyone lives.
