I wake up to a pinch to my check, shooting up out of bed as Ashido giggles nearby. I glare at her and sigh before leaving the tent. I suddenly realized, I never did ask her for quirk, did I? “Hey Ashido, what's your quirk?” Ashido thinks for a minute before shrugging and sitting by the fire says, “Never used my quirk before. Could be anything, but sometimes my insides feel funny.” My eyes widen and I rush over to her, slamming my hands on her shoulders, “Did one of your parents have an acid quirk?” She awkwardly pushes my hands off and nods, “They did.” I scream in my hands, she's so gonna die… Unless… I turn around and make a phone call, and my phone buzzes to life with a voice on the other side, “What do you want, Benny? I’m busy!” I swallow my pride and start talking, “I need a favor done. I’ll do anything, please.” I sound more desperate than I care to say. The other side laughs and responds, “Yeah, come over in an hour! I know exactly what I want you to do…” He hangs up before I can answer.
An hour later, I’m dragging Ashido into a shitty lab with walls full of moldy spots and concoctions everywhere, letting off a vile smell somewhere between a rotting corpse and old piss. There are also hundreds of unfinished and finished robots and one stands up and I follow it, showing up a door that says: “Room of Babies!” Yeah, she needs to fucking change that. We enter the room, full of faded posters of famous smart people, and even more concoctions, somehow smelling even worse and an ungodly amount of robots. At a table, a white, pink haired girl sits, stirring two liquids together with a skull next to her. “So that's what you were busy with Hatsume-sama.” She turns around and flashes the goofiest smile known to man. “So what do you need? I'm a pretty girl, so many people need something from me.” I raise an eyebrow, but sigh and ask, “Do you have something to help with acid blood?” She blinks and looks at Ashido. “No, she doesn't.” I nod grimly, and Ashido looks between us in confusion, “Brother Benny, what's acid blood?” I look at her her and softly explain, “It's a quirk where your blood turns to acid. It start weak, but once it's potent enough to melt anything, it tears you apart from the inside.” Ashido starts softly crying and clings to me, “I don't wanna die.” I put a hand on her head and say, “You're not gonna. This chick will help you with it.”
“What if she fails?”
“Then she dies.” Hatsume looks at me in horror, then quickly starts to make something. She soon hands Ashido a horny, “Just stab this into your head kid, then you won't die!” Ashido takes the horns and does as she's told. Her eyes roll back, but quickly snap back to normal and hugs Hatsume. Hatsume brushes her off and turns to me, “Well, now you owe me something, huh?” I nod, and she hands me a slip, but it's unreadable. “Well it's supposed to say make a gang, but I think I spilled something on it. Oops. Anyway, do that and get out!” I look at her in confusion, “Wait, why?”
“Because then your members can test out my babies!” I shudder a little and walk out. I know she means weapons, but I'm dirty minded! Ashido follows me out, and she looks at me, her eyes full of their usual enthusiasm. Hmmm… I wonder how I’ll start a gang…?
Perhaps it was fate. Perhaps it was just some fucked up spur decision by God. But now... We live in hell. Where evil rules the streets and heros are even less heroic. Benny knows this, and knows he has to live with it. But his life changes when he meets a young pink haired girl on the street. Maybe, just maybe, life will change.
