Alex stopped at the door of his office, a dark-blond haired guy was standing near his desk.
 “Can I help you?” Alex said in a curious ton.
 The guy turned, and his heart skipped a beat as he saw that the guy was Gabi.
He smiles at Alex. Alex frowned and walked towards his chair, he threw the papers he was holding on his desk. Trying to hide the fact that Gabi affects him so much.
 Gabi sits on the chair in front of him, “how are you feeling?” He asked Alex, delighted. Alex pursed his lips and did not answer.
He pretending to read the papers on his desk. Gabi's heart clenched as he saw how Alex ignored him.
“I just went to give you an advance warning about the ball,”Gabi said. Alex lifted his head to look at Gabi.
“I am also going to be there, in fact all my family is ones of the organizing the ball”. Gabi looks now at his hands, he could feel Alex gaze on him. alex sigh.
“The only reason we got invited is because of you?” Alex asked quietly, for some reason, he found that insulting. Gabi let out a dry chuckle, “Partly because of me, a mostly because you and Adam. I only put your name on the list, and they decided to send you the invitation.”
“They?” Alex asked. Gabi nods

“my aunts and uncles… and my parents” he almost whispers the last part
The air grew thick with awkward and Adam pheromones leak out, it's smell like a forest after rain, so fresh you want to take it all in. Gabi was surpriesd at how the scent seemed to calm him.

Gabi gets up unwillingly and walks to the door, Alex doesn't realize he stands up wiht him, until Gabi turns to him at the door. “One last thing, make sure to eat before you go to the ball, most of the food is appetizer and mini dessert.” Alex doesn't answer and stares at Gabi. Gabi blushed, he could easily get addicted to Alex , he waves as he walks away.

Alex threw himself to his chair. He put his shaking palms on his eyes and growled, he wanted to stop Gabi, make
any excuse to get him to stay a little longer.
he felt so frustrated - he never had longed for someone the way he longed for him, and it terrified him.
He can't wait to the ball, not for the opportunity to promote the business, because the opportunity to see and be around Gabi.

The next day and half passed to Adam and Alex in different ways, for Adam, time flew by- but for Alex, it stood still. Adam would need another hand to count how many times Alex asked him when the results from the test will come back.

And everytime Alex asked, Adam laughed, and only added to Alex's growing frustration, so much that Adam offered to drive to the ball.

Alex tries to empty his mind of all thoughts, but it seems that Adam has other ideas, he starts to talk about Ari, Gabi's freind. and somehow the one sided conversation turns to Gabi. As he heard Gabi name, all his senses awakened and he turned to Adam dont wanted to miss a thing. “-and another thing Ari tell my about Gabi, his parents was in the special forced so they sent him and his sister to all kinds of material art, Ari told me a lot of stories about how Gabi used to stand up to bullies, he even show me a video he took of him.” Adam took a break to breathe, it struck him how often his days seemed to begin with Ari. “ Ari also said we should talk with her,” Adam said to Alex. “with how?” Alex asked confused.

“Gabi sister, I don't remember her name but Ari said she is the owner of a fitness studio.” Adam said.
I wonder why Gabi didn't say anything about that to me?,” Alex said.
Adam laughed at Alex, knowing exactly what he was thinking. Gabi and Alex had met a few times, bit in none of their short talks did he ever bring it up. “judging from what Ari told me, I guess he doesn't want to put you in a tough spot.”

“A tougher spot than when he tryied to buy my sperm” Alex said sarcastically and Adam laughed.
The GPS said that they would be at their destination in a few minutes. They enter through to a big iron gate with a guard, the guard directed them where to drive, the more they drove they could see a massive mansion, made entirely of white marble that shone.

There was a valet in a gold  vest. they got out of the car and Adam handed him the key . Adam smiled to someone over his shoulder, “I'm so glad you came” the person said to Adam. Alex turned and he almost bit his tongue that person was looked just like Gabi, with the dirty-blond hair and his bright smile, the only difference was the eyes. Gabi's eyes were green and to this person's were brown.

The person come to them he shake Adam hand, and offered to Alex his hand,

“Lucas Green-Galer, but please call me Luke. Come with me everyone waiting to meet you.” He motioned for them to follow him. They looked at each other and Alex said to him without a sound ‘how is him?’ Adam answer also without making a sound, ‘Gabi dad’.

Gabi's dad, Lucas, introduced them to who Alex guessed were Gabi's uncles and aunts. They insisted on using  first name and talked about everything except business. Somehow, in the middle of it all, Alex could feel himself  growing impatient, his eyes wandered until he spotted Gabi on the terrace - gorgeous in a suit that looked like it  was made just for him.
He sitting on the edge of the wall , laughed and smiling - but not at Alex. his smiles was for the beautiful women next to him. she wore a pink dress with a thin straps, and it, too, looked like it had been made especially for her. Her long blonde hair fell across half her face as she and Gabi leaned into each other, laughing.
 She teaches Gabi's knee, and someting deep inside Alex screamed in protest.
 Adam nudged him, pulling him back to reality.
 “Why don't you get us a drink?” Adam said.
 Without protest, Aelx walked in the opposite direction from the bar, already knowing -he wasn't getting that drink.

When Alex arrived at the terrace Gabi was still there, sitting alone on the wall,
“Hay” Gabi said to Alex, Alex glanced around for the women in the pink dress . then he looked back at Gabi, who  smiled and patted the spot beside him.
 Alex sat down without a word.

From where they sat, they could see the entire hall. A small group had gathered around Adam. Alex considered going over to help, but he didn't want stray too far from Gabi. It seems Gabi could read his mind.
“don't worry" he said,  "my dad would never let anything bad to happen to him.”

“You know," Alex said, " they don't ask a single question about work. The only thing they wanted to know was how we met in college,”

Gabi shuckled, and Alex looked a sllightly annoyed.
 “I'm sorry,” Gabi said. “They act like that because it's rare for them to actually meet the kids they help,”

“What do you mean?” Alex asked.

“They are  the scholarships committee of James Oscar foundation's” Gabi said.
 Alex's eyes widened in surprise. He remembers how Adam's scholarship had been a lifeline - a real chance when everything seemed impossible.

Now, as he looked at the people in the hall, he saw them un an entirely light.
 “You know” Gabi continue, “our parents couldn't stopp talking about him. A fifteen-year-old boy, walkimg in and
asking for a college scholarships... My dad said it took everything he had not to cry the first time he saw him,”

 “You know Adam onec told me it the scariest thing he ever had to pace,”Adam said and Gabi laughs. Alex smiled at the sound, finding himself wishing the moment would never end -  the breeze on his face, Gabi sitting beside   him.
 Then, a thought crept into his mind: maybe he didn't need the test results to know the truth.
He looks at Gabi, but Gabi wasn't laughing anymore. He was giveing Alex a strange look.
“You know" Gabi said slowly, "after the other day at your office... I came to a conclusion”
 Alex frowned. He had a feeling he wasn't going to like whatever Gabi was about to say.

“I'm sorry I put you in that situation," Gabi said,  "but is's not your problem, it's mine. So I'm releasing you from any obligation, I don't need your help anymore.”
 Alex reached out and grabned Gabi's hand without thinking. He didn't even realize what he was doing/
 “No, no. Don't say that. Adam took me to redo the test.” He pressed Gani's hand to his check.
“Wait with me. Waith with me for the result.”
They looked at each other's eyes for a long moment, Neither of them said a word. until a voice interrupted.
“Aha.. so adorable,” They looked up and see the women in the pink dress.
Gabi quickly pull his hand, cheeks flushed.
“Alex," he said softly, "I'm pleased to introduce you to my sister, Natalia.”

“Your sister,” Alex said, half relieved and half surprised.

“Hey, nice to meet you.” she said, extending her hand for a handshake.

“You know" Gabi added, truning to Alex, "Natalia owns the Fitness studio in  Angels Towers. I think she could help you with the problem I saw the other day.”
Alex nodded. “Maybe we should set up an meeting at my office with Adam and talk it through.” Alex tells Natalia.

Just then, Rafi appeared and stood beside Natalia, “hey” he said with a grin.
“Mind if I steal this lovely lady for a bit?.”
No one responded at first, Rafi didn't introduce himself,- just stood there with a goofy smlie.
Gabi sighed had give in. “Alex, this is Rafael. Rafael, Alex.” The Shook hands.

“You know" Rafi began "it's really nice to meet you after what I read in the file-”, “just go!” Gabi cut him quickly.   “You can leave, see you later.”  Rafi and Natalia both laughed and walked off thogether.

“What he talks about?” Alex asked Gabi. Gabi let out a dry chuckle.
“why don't we talk about it once your results are in.” Alex nodded.
He just wished the result would come already.
