Since we hit 37k ink, I decided to keep the world building tidbits! I'm glad I did too, because they were actually kinda fun to come up with 😆 I did 1-2 for each of my current series, so I hope you enjoy them 💝

Forest Fairy Custom – The Blooming Day (Coming-of-Age Ceremony):
When a young fairy comes of age (which is about 100 years), they undergo The Blooming Day ceremony—a sacred rite where they are guided into the heart of the forest by their elder (or in this case, their queen, Mira). There, they bond with a magical tree that reflects their inner spirit. The ceremony ends with the fairy receiving a staff imbued with the tree’s essence, marking the moment they become a recognized adult among their people.
Fire Dragon Custom – The Skyfire Display:
Among the young, unattached fire dragons, the males participate in the Skyfire Display—a tradition where they take to the skies to perform daring aerial stunts, breathwork, and power displays to court potential mates. Grace, strength, and creativity are all taken into account, and a successful display can mark the beginning of a lifelong bond. (This applies only to males who don't activate the dragons bond as Zephyr did with Mira when they first met. It's a grueling process, especially for those who don't manage to wow any females...sorry guys 😅)

Legend of the First King of Miravia – King Lucan Miravia:
Lucan Miravia (often called Luca by his family), the first King of Miravia, was a kind-hearted boy born into poverty. His mother, a midwife, and his father, a humble farmer, raised him with strong morals and a love for justice. At fourteen, Lucan returned home from school to discover his father murdered and his mother barely clinging to life after being s*xually and physically assaulted by the notorious outlaw group known as The Black Maw.
For years, The Black Maw had terrorized the land, preying on the weak and unchallenged by authority. Fueled by grief and a deep sense of justice, Lucan rallied the oppressed villagers, urging them to stand together before their home was destroyed. They set a trap and fought back in a fierce battle. Though the cost was great, the village emerged victorious.
Lucan was hailed a hero. As he grew, so did his reputation. By the time he reached adulthood, the people had crowned him ruler over the once-lawless land, naming him the first King of Miravia. The crimson hue of his eyes became a symbol of his unwavering justice—an inheritance said to be passed down through generations, so his descendants would never forget their duty to uphold justice at any cost.

The Vigil of Thalvaris – Festival of Remembrance
Hosted annually by the Thalvaris Theocracy, The Vigil of Thalvaris commemorates the great sacrifice of the divine god Thalvaris, who sealed away Obscyron, at the cost of his life, to protect the world. The festival includes:
An Art Fair – where artists honor Thalvaris through paintings, sculptures, and performances.
The Vigil Flame – a sacred fire lit at dawn and kept alive until nightfall to symbolize Thalvaris' enduring light.
Storytelling – retellings of the ancient legend, often with small variations depending on the storyteller’s region or lineage.
The Humble Feast – a shared meal of simple yet meaningful dishes meant to celebrate unity and gratitude.
Lantern Lighting – the event concludes with attendees releasing lanterns into the sky or river, carrying their prayers and thanks to where they believe Thalvaris now resides.
Thank you once more to everyone who made all this possible! I'll be back soon with the Alternate POV promise! 😎 Oh, and I'd love to know what you'd all like the bonus scene to be centered around (and from which novel, of course). I'm not sure what to do concerning that so any ideas would be appreciated (since I didn't even consider it an achievable goal tbh 😅)
