"Girl, I thought your dad..." Chloe said.
"It was Adrien, he persuaded my dad." Marinette said.
"Adrien! I cannot believe it!! Chloe exclaimed.
As if on cue Adrien entered the class. "Adrien!" Chloe called.
"I wanted to..., Marinette began but was cut off in the middle of her speech by Ms. Bustier asking the class to settle down.
"I will talk to him after class: Marinette thought as she sat down beside Chloe.
After school Marinette at her fencing class with Luka. Adrien, Chloe and Nino were watching them because they meant to spend the day with her. Everyone was going just fine until the class ended, when Luka taking hold of Marinette's hand led her to the changing rooms.
"What is he doing with her?" Adrien whispered and grabbing Chloe's hand he ran towards them. He saw them going out of the school and followed, but then disaster struck -Luka reached up and kissed Marinette.
Adrien felt his body stiffen. He let out a gasp.
"Adrien? Are you okay? Chloe asked him.
This was too much for Adrien he burst out sobbing and ran all the way home, almost knocking over Marinette as he passed her.
"Adrien! Wait!" She called and was about to run after him, Chloe came up to her.
"I am sorry Marinette, he is just a little upset" he said.
"What happened Chloe? Marinette asked.
"I don't know if I can tell you" Chloe relied.
"You can trust me."
"It's is about you Marinette, I know he wouldn't want me to tell you, but he will have to tell you at some point of time. HE LOVES YOU!!!! He has been crazy about you since you came to school and now he saw you with Luka and he thinks you are in love with him, so he couldt control himself and he...,
By now Marinette had become very pale "I am sorry" she said looking at her toes.
"It fine Marinette" she replied. "Anyway I need to go after him, see your tomorrow" Chloe ran off leaving Marinette alone to deal with her feelings.
Backe in her room Marinette cannot stop thinking about Adrien. His eyes, his hair, his mouth, the way he spoke, the way he did the best to make her happy. You only realize how much you love someone, when you think you have lost him. Marinette realized that. She realized that she loved him, she loved him much more than he could ever love Misterbug.
"You were right Plagg, I should have changed targets before" Marinette said.
"I told you so."
"Misterbug or no Misterbug, I cannot lose Adrien" she said as she ran out of her house.
