Dave's design is cute, I like the circular blush cheeks and his wheelchair arms (also calling Tristan his "golden boy" is very neat foreshadowing when it comes to Dave lore, so I love that bit). Though I must admit I'm not very familiar with Lennie, but I think I see what he will offer to the story. I like how he seems to materialize from thin air, like in negative space? The contrasts of black and white are even more front and center here.
