Delum

Two weeks ago, Delum, a girl with pink hair and googly eyes never had a good life where her father was never around her and seeking new adventures, she went outside by herself and searched for new opportunities with her skateboard. 

In town, she skates around the shop to buy herself a new toy but she has no money she packs lunch in case she is hungry. 

In a park where there are a lot of people, Eligah and Samantha are there, eating bagels and drinking smoothies, Delum finds a skateboard ally and joins the other kids, playing along the tracks and skating for the fun. 

Eligah and Samantha kiss while he has a blanket on his legs. 

BOOM!!

AAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Screams. Blood from Eligah’s tail as the blanket reveals to be a bloody tail!

Samantha yelled, “DULONG!!!”

“SHUT UP AND GET THIS MERMAID ON RESEARCH PROTOCALL!” Dulong summons the FBI, the government, and the president down to Eligah and holds him tight as he screams his lullaby is hurting all the people’s ears while citizens run away, but little Delum does not run but sees her father in a suit holding Eligah hostage and looking back and forth to see no suspicious person behind. 

“You cannot do this!! Release him now!!” Samantha screamed but Dulong punched her face and her bloody nose ran down, unconscious and lost of focus, Samantha fell into a coma. Delum runs to her dad, saying, “Daddy! Stop this now!!” 

Dulong looks down at his daughter,” NO! For the money and the end of all creatures dead since they have been a case of monster-eating children!!”

Dulong holds Delum and takes her to the truck where Eligah screams and screams all day while he is sent in a truck and rushed down to the laboratory for the aquatics for research. 

In a tube, he is scared and he keeps singing all his lullabies. It is not working as the tight glass tube holding him for a tight space is making him claustrophobic, losing his mind and rushing his life to an end. All he wants to Samantha and that is it. Dulong and Delum are watching this scared mermaid down to the loss of existence and as Delum feels so bad, she comes close to the mermaid, “I will free you, even know I don’t know you.”

At the lab, Eligah is panicking as his memories are about togaed more, his body is glitching more, and he is talking to himself more than ever. HE wishes back to his old timeline, thinking that not all new inventions are man-made but deadly.

Nothing is working as Delum watching this mermaid having an episode but the scientists are taking the tube to another room for measurements and more. Delum watches this interesting but serious mermaid going hours and hours on examines. 

After a long examination, Delum watches Eligah eating a piece of fish, he does not love it until Delum grabs her favorite sandwich she made and climbs up to the tube, but there is no open door. Dulong screamed at Delum and grabbed her out of the top of the tube, leaving the mermaid alone as he watched the father and daughter exit the room while Delum stared at the sad mermaid. 

After long experiments and more tests where his blood was drawn as an unknown type, Eligah is all alone in this cold water, tight space, and nothing to talk to. Sleeping, he dreams of Dream Catcher, the man who send him to a beautiful but weird place that makes me write a lot of stories and follow more adventures, but his face is sad and sickened by the fact that this is the life he chose to do. Give up his goals and start a new one that will end up in betrayal. 

Dream Catcher walks away as Eligah chases him until Lafeyette touches his shoulders at the Lorelli, where he was the captain and as Lafayette is about to throw a spear at South, Eligah stops him and South swims away, leaving to a confusing but normal life of Eligah as a captain. No harm, no swimming, now new world to explore, just him and Lafayette. Even now his mind has nothing to do with Lafayette, Eligah sees 1887 New York like nothing, entering each room until his heart is about to be sad that this is not the way he wants to be. The salary is good, but his health is not. Sick and swollen, he wants to be with Samantha so much, he is not lying, just that he hears the names of Eligah, not from Samantha, but Pearl and South as they grab his arms and pull. PULL! PULL!! Until he is ripped in halves. 

He woke up and saw nothing but the lab sets with little lighting around. He is sad now and falls back to sleep. 

Meanwhile, Delum sleeps as she cannot stop thinking of the mermaid. She wants to help but within her father’s command, she cannot do anything but wish the woman who screamed at his name will save him. 

 As for her father in the living room, he is making so much money for rent but never anything priceless like a new phone even know he has an iPhone 3, he only spends two tickets with his daughter for tomorrow to see A Minecraft Movie and nothing else. 

“CHICKEN JOCKEY!!!” He cheered.
