Dreamcatcher 

Witnessing the tragedy of the mermaid at Lake Baikal, Elijah and Johnethen could not stand this, but as Elijah thinks of something, as his sketchbook is not full yet, he thinks about traveling around the rest of the world. Jonathan thought this could be a good idea since the more the mermaid dies, the less time Elijah will fulfill his true potential in life. 

“I could say that I think we need to give this mermaid thing up! Pearl is all I can think of, and this sketchbook is in my hands,” said Elijah. 

“I see. We should go now.” Johnethen holds Elijah’s hand away from the ocean and  heads across town where Russian cold and wind are blowing them away and as Elijah sees the animals and towns there, he feels like it is a dream come true. Elijah’s head is filled with visions of far-off lands and adventures waiting to unfold, with the sun casting golden rays over their small town, they decided it was time to turn their dreams into reality. 

The many places like France, as Elijah remembers the foul man Lafyette, and he wants to forget about it, as they move onto Italy, Spain, and Germany. There are too many people and food out there but Elijah does not feel hungry as his mind is too focused on the scenery of the buildings and music surrounding him. His sketchbooks are drawn in inches to fill one page of art. He is so happy that the ghost twitching has paused for a moment, realizing he forgot he is partly dead. 

Then they move to China, then Vietnam, and then Malaysia. It felt wonderful to Elijah that spark his heart joy after joy after joy. It feels like a new world to Elijah as he has never seen Asians before and their culture. It is so fascinating that Elijah draws so many flowers, birds, and trees while people are watching him draw. Jonathan knew the idea of traveling, and he knows a lot, but is happy to see his new friend having a good time, recovering his happy times as a traveler. 

Then Australia. 

Then Africa, 

Then South America. 

Then America, around the states they go. 

The book is full. They have been traveling for 24 hours. 

Full of everything Elijah saw in his life before he died. At California at night, where the stars are bright, Elijah could not wait and needed to find Pearl. Elijah stares at the stars, where there is something to say. 

“Johnethen, I feel like I don’t need to live a longer life, I mean, I work very hard to become who I am before heaven takes me, one more checkpoint and I am done, I feel like I am at the finish line. I do not need to worry.”

“I know the feeling. I was like you. Struggling, stressed, finding something I can be busy but happy at the same time. I've been with bodies from the happiest but healiiest time of their lives to straight up drinking booze and calling themselves ‘the chosen one’, but listen, you are good enough to die here, there is nothing to do after your goals to give your wife an important message. The future will be nothing for you. You will grow old and you will never remember the best times unless you write them down in your book,” Johnethen said. 

Elijah felt a heart beating so warm, and his face felt like tears were coming. Something tingles Elijah as he is glowing green all of a sudden, Johnethen backs off until a portal takes Johenthen away. Elijah’s “transformation” and as Johnethen turns around, his friend, Tawean Thunder, appears, whispering about something he is so shocked about. 

“An Armageddon,” Johenthen shouted as he was in SOMA with Diana and Okta. They are freaking out that Elijah is the chosen one. Tawean’s idea is to vote. Vote yes to have Elijah killed. Vote no to have Elijah die. 

“That is not a good idea. We should have him dead. All of his goals are done, and all he needs now is to confront his wife over his death before he goes to heaven,” Jothenthen said. 

Elijah is all alone where there is all the nightlife, but Elijah’s life with the new glow of life comes in as a green man comes to him, that Dreamcatcher, the man who Elijah saw in his dreams, said, “You did it. It is time to go and become one of us.”

Confused, Elijah asked, “What do you mean, I need to go see my wife?”

“You can go with her, I can wait,” Dreamcatcher smiled. 

But then a portal comes forward to Dreamcatcher as his sister, Vivian, whispers to his right ear, as there is an Armageddon that needs to stop. 

Dreamcatcher said, “Vivian, let this man see his wife, and we will decide.”

Elijah is at a hotel, but he hears a scream that alerts him to something twitching his head.. The voice sounds familiar. 

“PEARL!!” He shouted and ran upstairs, banging on each door while neighbors told him to quiet down, but the screaming alerts him more and more until a man is yelling to the victim to quiet down. 

Elijah finds an open door and slams down to the room, seeing Pearl with her neck wrapped around by Rabbit Rapideyes. 

Rapid quickly stares at Elijah and laughs at the man who is about to die for real. He pushes Pearl down to the ground and comes too close to Elijah and pulls his knife out, stabbing his chest while talking shit like something that came from BoJack Horseman. 

“It's So Cruel To Let People Love You. All You're Doing Is Promising That One Day You'll Break Their Heart,” Rapid laughed. 

“I mean, I was like you. I wish I had no friends to comfort me, but instead talk about my feelings about why I am here, struggling to exist in front of them, even know I am doing nothing to help the environment and helping them find and go for success. You live just to suffer, Elijah. You are the suffer in their world, and without that mermaid of yours, South, you make your life and her life delusional as ever. Fuck you, you dead son of a bitch,” Rapid gives a dead look while smiling to Elijah as he walks away, leaving Elijah fallen to his knees and tears comes down that he is the failure. Pearl sees Elijah as a cheater and a liar. 

“Elijah, you must be hiding. How are you not dead? Your chest is bleeding,” Pearl crawls to him slowly, but her heart shatters, but her mind says love. It feels like dizzy and growing to Pearl looks away from the man who married her to make life the best as she wants to have. 

Elijah slowly stands up and runs to Rapid, but Rapid then slices Elijah’s neck, not fully cut, but a lot of bleeding, sickened to the fact that a man who is dead still keeps running his legs like there is no tomorrow. Rapid looks into Pearl, grabs her hair, and said, “Join that son of a bitch you call husband!”

Elijah’s head isn’t cut but full of scars after numerous wounds from Rapid, so he just gives up and walks away but then Dreamcatcher and Vivian show up in the room and grab Elijah and Pearl down to a park where they need to have a chat about the Armageddon.

Rapid does not want to do this anymore as he follows the green siblings for some reason.
