If Ice had been human, he probably would’ve suffocated by now. Instead, he just looked up at Kyousuke, feeling something akin to pity. Tears filled his eyes too.
“I’ll never get to talk to her again! Never get to hear her voice, her laugh… never be able to do anything that we used to do together. She’s gone! Gone! And it’s all your fault. You and that bastard Crimson! Why can’t you just let people live, huh?!”
Tears streamed down Ice’s cheeks. He was feeling something. Something strong. He felt bad for what he had done. Since he had been built, he had never felt this way before now. He just did whatever he was told. But what changed? Did Crimson or the scientist add something to his programming when he was turned off for inspection.
Kyousuke hated that doe-eyed look that Ice was making. “Don’t you dare pretend to cry!” Kyousuke yelled, as he dug his nails into the android’s neck. “One of these days, I’m going to rip that pretty little head right off your…” The cop was distracted mid-sentence as he felt something poke him between the legs. He released his grip and climbed up off of Ice’s body. Kyousuke looked like he was going to be sick when he saw the erection in Ice’s pants. “Shit, you are a pervert! That’s disgusting! I was threatening you, ya know!”
Ice blushed in embarrassment. “I-I’m sorry,” he said, meekly. “I’m programmed with an asphyxiation kink. I promise that it doesn’t mean that I don’t…”
“Shut it.” Kyousuke said sternly. “I don’t want to hear it.” With that, he exited the room.
Ice felt so ashamed. There he was, feeling once again. Something was wrong. His body and thoughts were not in alignment. It was normal for him to get aroused, but not by someone besides Crimson. And it certainly was not normal for him to feel remorse, pity, or shame. He needed to get checked up. Maybe he had a computer virus. “Excuse me, miss… What’s your name?”
“Arashi.”
“Arashi, is it possible that you could get me to my doctor?” Ice asked. “The scientist that created me. I fear I have a virus. My responses are very unusual right now.”
“You’re in luck,” she said, coolly. “We just happened to be heading over to the lab to have a little chat with him. In fact, we need you to help us get in.”
