Green items are slightly better than the basic white ones. Not very exciting at higher levels, but a greedy person like the Hag might fuss about getting them at level 1.
I've now caught up with the comics I posted elsewhere, and have a reasonable buffer, which means I'll be moving to a weekly upload schedule (likely Tuesdays).
