Back in the cave, Damon decides to leave to check out the place again.

 "I have to check out the place again before the sun goes down completely, I'll try to get some food for Emily as well.

As soon as he approached the exit, a giant's fist struck him directly in the cheek, knocking him to the ground. The force of the blow knocked him unconscious for several seconds as he watched the leader's followers enter the cave.

Man1: alright!

Man2: Hey, hey, hey, we found the hiding rats!

Man1: How could Gazley been defeated by those kids, what a joke!

they then noticed Emily, who didn't wake up despite the noise, so one of the men went over to her

"Oh ho, there's a girl sleeping here!

As soon as Damon heard him, he regained consciousness and shouted angrily.

Damon: Get away from her!

They all turned towards him and found him back on his feet.

Man 2: what!, didn't your iron fist knock him out?

Man 1 wickedly: interesting, even though he took a straight hit.

Damon:"Damn it, that's a powerful punch,I still feel dizzy, but the situation is serious,I can't use my ability, the place is narrow and may collapse on us, but the narrow space will restrict me from traditional fighting, I have no choice! I have to beat them.

Damon took a long breath to help himself wake up while the big guy laughed mockingly and pulled out his huge battle wand, hitting the cave wall hard enough to shatter part of it.

The man: Come to me, kid!

Damon ran towards him to form a magnetic ball in his punch, but the big man hit his wand to block Damon's blow, but  his wand was not  a normal wand, it started to absorbed the magnetic ball in Damon's hand until it disappeared and the hit reached his hand, where Damon painfully removed his fist.

Damon: "That's not a normal wand!

“what’s the matter are you surprised by my weapon? Too bad it's not a normal weapon for you to control, thanks to our new leader,all our weapons are against you!” the man boasted.

Damon then used Emily's ability to hit the ground, where he broke a rock and take it as his weapon, and because he smashed the rock, dust was scattered around the narrow place for him to take advantage of this gap to approach and attack, as the man noticed Damon's close approach,  he swung his weapon but Damon dodged it and used the rock to hit the man wrist, which made him drops the wand and to be taken by Damon before its falls on the ground as damon kicked him hard to push him out of the cave, which surprised the rest of the men, Damon managed to move the fight to the outside where he became free to fight as the men draw their swords to attack him , but Damon blocked them using the wand, as they were skilled with the sword which made it  more difficult.

damon noticed that even the swords were not affected by the magnetic power, so he kicked them with his boot and then hit them with the wand, causing them all to fall down one by one, when someone shouted behind him.

Man: ENOUGHT!

The man was holding Emily after he dragged her out of the cave and threw her to the ground, which made her hurt. Emily tried to crawl away, but he placed his foot on her back to stop her and pointed the sword at her, which surprised Damon and made him stop fighting.

Man: You miserable brat!!, didn't you see me in there too? It doesn't matter.. it's over, drop your weapon!

Emily: Get your foot off me!

he then hit her to shut her up, which made Damon flustered and angry, so he threw the wand to the ground with a slam. 

Damon: i Give up, let her go now!

The man laughed and the rest of them followed him, as he order then to attck again so they rushed to damon  punched him several time until he forced to kneel down, when the big man grabbed Damon's hair to pull him up and force him to look at him.

big man: didn't the leader say he only wants blood?

Damon:!!

the big man: Show him some blood, it will be fun for all of us.

Then he made Damon look at Emily.

Big Man: Look at the results of your actions.

The man took his foot off Emily and raised his sword up to prepare to finish her off when Damon screamed in rage.

Damon: STOP!!

Before the sword reached Emily, Damon awakened his true ability of combining abilities as it exploded with the people behind him to push them hard and rush towards the person in front of him where he formed a united ball to hit him in the chest and made his armor shatter and collide against the  stone wall behind him, at another time Damon made  all the men sit in front of him as he warped the wands and weapons on their hands to become handcuffs for them and their faces showed signs of severe beating and panic.

Damon: So, fatty, let's start talking first since you're the one who made a big mess!

The man angrily: Who are you calling fat, you stupid kid?

Damon generates an energy ball and blows up the ground near his feet, scaring him off.

Damon: Speak up!

Man: Well, we're following the orders of the new leader, Gunner, who ordered us to target you and bring you or a sample of your blood.

damon: Why? What does he want from us?

Man :I don't know

damon: Who is Gunner?

Man: We don't know. He appeared out of nowhere and said he was an inventor, that's why our previous leader kept him, but suddenly he killed him and became the new leader, and he's the one who made all these items.

 "To have someone targeting us like that is strange". demon thought then continued his questions.

Damon: What happened to my other friends?

Man: We don't know, we were told to only look for you in the forest.

Damon: Where is your leader's headquarters?

The rest of the followers screamed in panic and anger.

Man 1: Don't you dare tell him!

Man 2: I'll kill you if you do!

Man shouted: Like hell I will!, Listen, kid, I told you everything I have! That's my limit! There's no way I'm taking any more risks and betraying the others!

Damon looked at them silently for a few seconds and then stood up to walk away, which made them run away so fast as he didn't care.

"that's all I need.”

He went over to Emily, who was sitting by the river and had just washed her face when she noticed Damon's presence.

damon: I’m sorry for what happened,Emily, are you ok?

Emily:  I'm fine, I'm much better.

She noticed the bruise on his cheek and pulled him to sit down.

Damon: what?

Emily: Wait a minute.

She placed a wet cloth on his cheek, which made him feel the pain.

Damon: Eeee.

Emily: So even strong Damon gets hurt sometimes,Thank you Damon for saving me many times.

Damon's cheeks turned red but he looked away to avoid  her eyes contact.

Damon: your welcome

they walked into the forest where Damon put on his coat, but as soon as he put it on, he felt something in his pocket to remember something important.

Damon: Oh wait, I forgot something.

Emily: What is it?

He then gave her a pair of small earrings.

Emily: Who is this for?

Damon: its yours.

Emily reaches out her hand to him in annoyance and asks him to return them.

Emily: No, its  not mine.

Damon: wait wait, remember when we waited for hours for Jacob?

Emily: Who's Jacob?

Damon: Oh, right, that's Shadowlight's real name, Lisa got these earrings as a gift from a kind lady as a thank you gift and she wanted to give them to you in time, but when we were at the inventor's to get our memories back, she gave me these and asked me to keep it safe so they wouldn't get lost while she was getting her memory back, but I apparently forgot to give them back to her, so could you return it to her?

Emily looked at the earrings with confusion and guilt.

Damon: you told us you were  best friend, but isn't it great that your friendship hasn't changed even after you lost your memory?

Emily made up her mind and they went to the village where the first explosion took place in the village. As soon as Damon arrived, he was happy to see Lisa and Jake standing there unharmed and shouted at them to get their attention.

Damon: hey guys over here!!

Jake and Lisa were relieved when they saw the rest of their friends and ran towards them. As soon as Lisa looked at Emily, she was shocked that Emily was wearing a pair of earrings, so Emily opened her hand to give her the other pair of earrings when Lisa was relieved and she and Emily hugged each other without words, which made the rest of the group happy.

Jake: Finally,by the way, I didn't introduce you by my name, I'm Jake.

Emily: Hi, Jacob.

Jake: Aah! Don't call me Jacob, you too!

damon:Wow, did you guys take those out all by yourselves?

And by that Damon meant the many single man planes crashing around.

jake:Huh? We thought you took them out, they were chasing you!

To the shock of Damon and the others, someone had easily defeated the planes.

Earlier, when the planes were looking for Damon in the forest, they went to the village to look for him, but Michaelos had already reached the village with his men, so he used his own weapons to attack, as one of his men was generating a device manually like a wheel and then shouted to Michaelos.

"'It's ready.

Michaelos walked with his steel shoes to increase his speed until he ran towards the device, which looks like a circular shield that contains many points, so Michaelos jumped on it to suddenly generate a strong magnetic field that led to repulsion that made Michaelos jump a huge height in the air so that he and his men became above the single-man planes to form a magnetic network that covered them and became under its control.

michaelos: Let's bring them down, men!

The men scream: Aaah!
