“Yeah, well maybe today I'll let you win. Only today, don't get so cocky now, Raine.”
“Mhmm..Right..” He said as I rolled my eyes at him and leaned against the wall.
“I said don't get cocky.”
“Well what did you expect me to do, be all sweet and cute..You just let me win and you the most stuck up, stubborn person i know just admitted it. I'll be cocky all I want.”
“Ugh.. You're so annoying sometimes.”
“Maybe I am, but we both are Ren so it's equal.”
“I am not annoying, only to you Raine.”
“I think Anne would say otherwise too.” He raised an eyebrow at me and smirked.
“She's my sister, of course she would say that that's unfair, Raine.”
“I don't make the rules, that's how the game’s played…Ren..” He kept that same smug grin with this kind of seductive voice and stepped closer.
“You're a jerk..” I looked up at him and he looked at me. Neither of us break eye contact.
“So are you, we’re even.”
“I hate you sometimes..” I rolled my eyes, smirking. Just friends right..It's what he said, but it doesn't feel like that. Not to me atleast.
“Only sometimes though..What about the other times, hm?”
“I may be a bit hungover and easy to get to admit things, but I won't say or admit any other times I didn't hate you.”
“Okay, I'll just find other ways then.” He still had that annoying cocky smug grin on his face.
“...I-wait-wha-No..” I glared at him, causing him to chuckle in a low tone.
“What's with that glare, Ren? It's like you've got a stick up your ass.”
“You would know wouldn't you, Raine.”
“Oh yeah, what is that supposed to mean?..” He raised his eyebrow at me and I just smirked, crossing my arms.
“Exactly what you think it's supposed to mean..Raine…” I had a slight seductive voice, like the same way that he had to me earlier. He didn't say anything, he just chuckled and left. He walked away down the hallway, I walked down the other end. I wandered around for a bit before I saw Anne with Lea and our parents talking. I walked gingerly over towards them.
“Mom, dad this is Lea..she’s the one i've been talking and writing to for a while. Anne said, still flushed pink and looking down at her shoes holding Lea’s hand, while Lea was just grinning.
“It’s nice to finally meet you, your majesties.” Lea said with a slight bow towards my parents.
“It's nice to finally meet you too, Lea.” My mother said in a soft tone.
“If you’ll excuse us Lea and Anne we have something to do, but we should talk more at dinner, is that alright darling?” My father said to everyone, then my mother.
“Of course as long as Anne and Lea are open to it.” My mother gave a soft smile.
“Oh, yes we’ll be there mom. Don’t worry.” Anne said back with a grin, that made Lea smirk. My parents left to go up to the castle meeting room. I snuck up behind them.
“What was that about? And why does it look like you guys are planning to go do something?...” I said looking at them, curious.
“Dinner tonight and your instincts are right, Ren see you later.” Lea said, grinning wide mischievously and dragging Anne away quickly to Anne’s room.
“Oh…OH, uhm okay..” I watched them until they turned the hall as I took in what they meant and were doing. I wished I wasn’t so curious to ask them now, I didn’t want or need to know what my sister and her girlfriend were going to do. So, for a while I made sure to stay away from that wing of the castle.
