First task.

I groan, thinking of the events that happened today... my own crush... HAS A CRUSH ON THE BASTARD ALPHA I HATE! Hahh... I just want to go home and relax. Today has been tiring...

I get a call on my phone and raise an eyebrow as I rummage my hand through my pocket and take out my phone as I pick it up. I'm curious to know who is calling.

"Hello? Who is this."

From the other side of the phone, I hear the voice of Iloncer.

"Hello,! I'm Uncle Iloncer, XinLao. Hivolti is calling Reilivon right now, so I'm calling you."

I raise an eyebrow that Uncle Iloncer is calling. Why?

"Oh, alright. Why are you calling me?"

Iloncer talks.

"Well, we have a task for you and Reilivon! It's your first task with someone else so we picked an easy one!"

I groan in annoyance, I have to work with that bastard...? I can manage just mine on my own!

"I heard you groan, are you okay?" Iloncer says.

I flinch as I chuckle sheepishly and nod, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Oh, nothing is wrong, Uncle! Just... a bit tired right now."

Iloncer on the other side of the phone smiles as he cuts vegetables.

"Oh, alright. You better get some rest now since the task is this night, okay? I'll send you better gear as your uncle said."

I let out a fake chuckle as I smile and nod, talking. I'm not happy about this at all.

"Oh great...! I'll get some rest as you asked me too, Uncle. I can't wait for my new gear to arrive. I shall then call you again later. Goodbye, Uncle."

Iloncer smiles on the other side of the phone and hangs up. Turning around.

"Love, have you finished talking to, Rei-rei?"

Hivolti nods as he hangs up the phone.

"I have, love. What about you?"

Iloncer nods as he smiles.

"I have too."

Hivolti comes over and hugs, Iloncer from behind as he looks at what he's making.

"What are you making, love?"

Iloncer chuckles as he cuts up some avocado.

"I'm making guacamole for today. It is, Rei-rei's favorite after all."

Hivolti smirks as he looks down at, Iloncer.

"It's my favorite too, remember? Don't go having favorites now, love."

Iloncer smiles warmly as he gives, Hivolti a kiss on the cheek.

"I would never, love. I love you as much as I love our son. You also shouldn't be so jealous of our own son." He says, teasingly.

Hivolti pouts, burying his head in Iloncer's neck.

"We raised such a handsome man, tho. I can't help but feel jealous. But I'm also quite proud. I hope he'll find a nice omega to look after him."

Iloncer chuckles as he pats Hivolti's head and says.

"So do I. I can't wait to see our grandchildren."

Hivolti smiles and nods, agreeing with, Iloncer.

"Mhm."

A sudden sound has been heard. I'm currently in my room. Punching my wall till it cracks. My fist bleeds ever so slightly.

"STUPID. ASS. TASK! WHY IM I ASSIGNED WITH THAT BASTARD?!?!! UGH! WHY, WHY, WHY?!?!?!"

My Uncle yells at me from outside.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU YELLING?!"

I freeze as I pout, sitting back down on my bed as I say.

"No reason! Just leave me alone!"

Urgh... I can't get a moment of peace... right now. I sigh as my Uncle knocks on my door and I raise an eyebrow, I stand up but I look down at my fist... damn it's a mess. 

I quickly look around for a bandage or anything similar. My Uncle continously knocks, annoyed.

"Hey! What's taking you so long? You got a package!"

I blink a few times, oh. Uncle Iloncer mentioned that he'd send me better gear. I guess it's that.

"Yeah, yeah. One second! Have some patience would you?"

I quickly bandage up my fist as I open the door and look down at my Uncle and the package he's holding.

"Is that from, Uncle Iloncer?"

My Uncle smirks as he nods and gives the package to me.

"It is! Now quickly try it on so I can see how it looks on you!"

I roll my eyes, seriously. It's a like a mom wanting to see her daughter in a new dress that she bought for her. I sigh as I nod holding the package.

"Okay. I'll try it on I guess."

I head inside my room and open the package. My eyes widen slightly that there is so much. And there are new weapons too? Some short knives and a pistol. Damn, the Recardoz are rich rich. 

I try on the new suit and feel surprised on how light it is. It feels durable too. There are pockets on the sides so I can place my short knives, daggers and pistol in it. Damn! This suit has everything! I fix it up a little and come out of my room to show my uncle.

"It's, surprisingly very nice... and it's light too, I can move around much easier in this."

My Uncle smirks, a glint in his eye as he looks at my new suit.

"Good, good! Very good! It's perfect!"

He inspects the suit and says.

"It looks like it's very durable too. And there's even a bullet proof vest! Iloncer really outdid himself this time."

I blink in surprise. My Uncle really notices these details more than I do. He smiles as he looks up at me and pats my shoulder.

"Now it's time for your first task with someone else. You ready?"

I really just want to go by myself but, I doubt there is an option like that. I sigh as I force a smile and nod.

"Yeah, I'm ready."

My Uncle nods and chuckles.

"Wish you all the best."

It's now midnight, I'm on a rooftop other side of the enemy gang's building. I'm wearing a mask so my face doesn't get revealed. So does, Reilivon as he prepares his sniper and smirks, looking up at me.

"It's our first task together. I hope you don't mess it up."

I glare down at his cockiness.

"I would NEVER mess up a task this simple."

Reilivon smirks as looks back at the building, pointing his sniper towards it.

"Let's see if you keep your word."

We both stay hidden in the darkness of shadows.
