Chapter- 9:

A family member?

Uncle Hivolti looks at the baby and sighs, just surprised.

"Hahhh... we'll keep him in the baby room for now. Until we find out who his parents are."

Reilivon raises an eyebrow as he looks down at the baby and says.

"Since I found him in the building... could he be the enemy gang's child-?"

We all pause and look down at the baby as we all feel nervous. Uncle Iloncer smiles as he shakes his head, smiling nervously.

"Hahaha-! No way... absolutely not! I doubt it... I hope."

I smile nervously as I chuckle along with, uncle Iloncer.

"Haha! Of course... I doubt it as well, Uncle."

Reilivon sweats slightly as he looks at the baby and says.

"But, what if he is?"

Me and Uncle Iloncer give a death glare to, Reilivon and he flinches, pouting.

Uncle Hivolti thinks for a moment and says, looking at, me, Reilivon and Uncle Iloncer 

"Maybe we can take him in like he's a newborn in our family. But we need someone to be mated to an omega to make it believable. I doubt our gang will trust us if a baby suddenly appeared out of nowhere and we took him in saying it was our child when we don't even have an omega."

I nod as I think for a moment, looking down.

"True, true... but who will?"

Me, Uncle Hivolti and Uncle Iloncer stare at Reilivon as he flinches and glares at us.

"Hold up. Me?! No way! I'm not mating with anyone."

Uncle Hivolti sighs as he rubs his forehead.

"Figured you would say that."

Uncle Iloncer glares up at, Reilivon and says. Placing both of his hands on his waist.

"You always dated with omegas back in america and broke up with them literally 2 days later. Can't you do this simple task?!"

I blink in surprise, but not that much since I figured he would be a playboy with that kind of face.

Uncle Hivolti nods agreeing with, Uncle Iloncer. As he says.

"We can't just say, 'oh this baby? He was found in the enemy gang's building we destroyed!' We can NEVER say that."

Reilivon groans as he looks away. I look up at him, not knowing what's going on through his head. He looks back down at me and I quickly avert my gaze. I blink a few times... hold up, did I just look away? Why did I tho?

The baby wails as he looks up at me, and reaches out his arms towards me.

"Ma...ma...!"

Everyone in the room pauses and looks down at the baby.

I blink a few times as I raise an eyebrow in surprise.

"Mama what now?"

Reilivon blinks and chuckles, holding back his laughter.

"PFFFFT--- he called you mama- I CANT!" 

I glare up at him, annoyed. But it really does damage my pride as an alpha at being called the mother tho. I look down at the baby and smile as I say.

"I'm not mama. I'm papa. Say, pa-pa!"

The baby looks up at me with a confused expression on its face. I chuckle sheepishly as I look down at him.

"Pa-pa! Can you say it?"

The baby looks more confused now as he says.

"Ma...ma!"

I groan as Reilivon is dying laughing on the floor and so is, Uncle Hivolti. I expected this from, Reilivon but not you too, Uncle! I sigh deeply as I give the baby to, Uncle Iloncer and he smiles looking down at him.

"Well, since this little guy is now our new family member. I guess he should have a name, don't you think?"

I nod as I think of a name, as I say. Lookinf down at the baby in Uncle Iloncer's arms.

"How about, Alvoren? It suits-"

 Uncle Hivolti interrupts me as he smirks.

"What about, Xilivon? It's a mix of, XinLao and Reilivon." 

My eye twitches, why mix that bastards name with mine? Can't you pick something else?

Reilivon smiles enthusiastically as he nods. Looking down at me as he wraps his arm around my shoulder and I grumble in annoyance.

"Indeed! It's the perfect name!"

Uncle Iloncer smiles as he looks down at the baby, now Xilivon.

"Xilivon Recardoz, huh?" He smiles.

"It's perfect. His nickname should be, xien for short. Welcome to the Recardoz family, Xien."

I pause as I blink a few times. Why does it feel like I've been married to this bastard of an alpha? Huh-?
