Chapter Two
I’m alive, I wasn’t sure I was going to make it. I slowly move my body, wiggling all my limbs. Everything hurts, but I feel alright otherwise. Willow helps me up and sits me on the bed. I look around, everything seems clearer. “I guess I needed glasses before, everything is crystal clear now.” She laughs, “I had the same thought after my change. How are you feeling?”
“I hurt, but I feel different in a way I can’t quite explain.” I think I feel healthier, that’s the only way to describe it, less tired, less icky. “What kinds of things am I going to need to know that I’m a Lycan. I know things can’t be the same as they were.”
“You will have to learn to control your emotions, especially anger. You don’t want to accidentally turn in a crowd of people because you lost your temper. I suggest you move in with me, I think staying at the apt would be a disaster waiting to happen.” I would love to live here, so I’m happy with that. “What about Alec, can I still be with him?”
I see disgust flash across Willow’s face. I internally roll my eyes, She has never liked my boyfriend. His name is Alec Wofle, he’s six foot one, blond with blue eyes, and the perfect gentleman. We’ve been together for a few years, and she has always hated him for some reason. “I would suggest breaking up with him. I don’t think you will be able to control yourself around him. You don’t want to accidentally hurt or expose yourself to him. Being a Lycan must be kept a secret.”
I sigh. I do not want to leave him; there has to be some workaround. “Is there anything I can do? I do not want to lose him, you know that I love him.” She shakes her head, “You’ll just be putting him at risk. You have no idea what will trigger you.”
“Can’t we do some experimenting? Invite him over and see how I do?” She just sighs at me, “You’re not going to let this go, are you?” I give her a look, and she puts her hands up, “Fine! I guess we can try, but you're going to have to be extremely careful. The second I feel like something is off, he will leave, and you’ll need to cut him out.” I’ll take what I can get, I will make damn sure I don’t lose him. I can control myself…right?
We ate breakfast and got ready for the day. Once everything was cleaned up, I invited Alec over. Willow and I were finishing up our movie when we heard the doorbell. I look at her, confused. There is no way Alec could have gotten here this quickly. She just shrugs her shoulders and goes to answer the door.
It’s been a couple of minutes, and she hasn’t come back. I turn my head towards the door, but can’t see anything, “Willow? Who’s at the door? Everything okay?” Before she responds, I hear someone yell, “I demand to see Raven now! I know she’s here.” I get up and walk over there, and much to my dismay, it’s my ex-boyfriend Bane. I hate that I fell for him, but with that tall, muscular build and his dreamy honey brown eyes, I was putty in his hands.
“Why the hell are you here, Bane?” I feel extremely agitated all of a sudden, I need to watch my temper and not let him get to me. He smirks at me, “I needed to see you, I missed you love.” I roll my eyes, I can smell his bullshit from a mile away. “Yeah sure, you can go kindly fuck off and leave me alone.” I see his smile falter, but he hides it quickly, “Come on, baby, please don’t be like that. I need you.”
Willow looks at me, confused, “What is the deal with this dude?” I guess I need to explain some things to her, but not in front of him. I point my finger at him, “Stay, and don’t touch anything.” I grab Willow and pull her into the kitchen.
“Raven, what is going on? Who is he and what does he want?” I sit us both down, dreading this conversation. “He is my ex, Bane. He is constantly coming after me, trying to get me back. Everything he says is complete shit because he is a complete piece of shit.” I see her smirk and then crack her knuckles, “I’ll happily take care of him for ya.”
I just patted her on the head, “Please don’t try.” She swats my hand away from her. “Why do you still love him or something?”
“No. It’s uh….He’s a vampyre.” Her jaw drops, and she just stares at me, dumbfounded. “So, he tried to turn me while we dated after I had told him no. So I dumbed his ass but he continues to follow me around.” After a couple seconds she composes herself, “I guess that explains why you were so cool with my shit. I’m surprised you never told me all this.” I just shrugged at her, I was hoping the fucker would leave me alone and all this would stay in the past. She gets up, “Well, let’s go kick his ass out of here.”
We both go back over to the door. He immediately smirks again, “So, babe, ready to get back together with me?” I slap him across the face, hard. “Take a fucking hint Bane. I do not want to be with you. So fuck off and stay away from me!” He spits blood on the ground, “You were always so fiesty, let me turn you, be with me forever.”
Before I have a chance to respond, a black car pulls into the driveway. Fuck, he could not have gotten here at a worse time. Alec gets out of the car and cautiously walks over to the door.
Bane clicks his tongue, “Well, who do we have here?” he turns towards me still smirking.
“None of your damn business, just fucking leave already!” I’m struggling with keeping myself under control, I’m minutes from snapping and ripping Bane’s head off. I take a deep breath and try to calm myself.
“Well, by your reaction, Raven, I’m assuming this must be your new boy toy. He’s cute, add looks quite tasty.” I see his fangs grow and he licks his lips, “don’t you fucking touch him you bastard.” Banes behind Alec in an instant and grabs him by the neck and sinks his fangs in. Rage takes over my entire being, and I explode out of my skin and land on all fours.
Bane drops Alec, “Fucking hell!” he bolts but he isnt fast enough. I chase him down and tackle him to the ground, tearing into his side, ripping off a good chunk of skin. He screams and manages to flip me, slamming me into the ground, crushing my ribs and arm on my right side. I howl in pain and fall to the ground. I shift back into human form, I cough, and see bright red spatter everywhere, my breathing slowly diminishing.
Willow rushes over to me, “Shit Raven this is bad, really bad.” I grab her and force out, “Kill him!” She hesitates but shifts and goes after Bane.
I try to crawl over to Alec, but I can barely move. He’s screaming and thrashing, I assume he’s transitioning into a vampyre…That’s just fucking great! I hear a loud snarl and look over just in time to see Willow take down Bane and rip him to shreds, I laugh a little. Bitch got what he deserved.
I’m struggling to breathe now. Willow comes back over to me, “You're not healing fast enough! What the fuck do I do?” I push her away, “Go check Alec, please.” She shakes her head no. “Go…check…him…now!” I gritted out painfully. She reluctantly goes to him. My vision starts to fade as I see him stir awake. Thank god he's alright.
Willow
“Ugh!” She is so fucking stubborn, but I do as she asks. I poke Alec, and he stirs awake. He looks around confused. “What the fuck is going on?” I sigh, “You got bit by a vampyre and now you're a vampyre. You are the least of my fucking concern right now.” He scowls at me but doesn’t say anything. I grab him and pull him over to Raven’s unconscious body.
“Fuck! This is worse than I thought, she's barely breathing!” I don’t know what to do. She’s newly turned, and her healing abilities haven’t fully developed yet. Fuck!
“Is she dead?” he asks. I turn towards him, seeing tears in his eyes. “She’s not dead yet, we need to find a way to help her.” He just sits on the floor and holds her. I pace around the room, trying to think of something, anything.
After several minutes, I had an idea. It’s a long shot, there's almost no chance she survives in the state she's in, but it’s all we've got. I go back over to Alec, “Bite her!” He looks at me like I’m insane. “It’s the only chance we have to save her. If she transforms into a hybrid, her body will heal during the transition. It’s are only choice. Fucking bite her!”
He hesitates but bites her on the neck. She doesn’t move, I don’t even see her breathing. Were we too late? I fall to my knees, “Please, wake up, you can’t leave me!” I sob
Raven
For the second time today, I woke up in unbelievable pain. I groan and looks around, Willow and Alec are both sobbing, “The fuck if wrong with you two? I’m the one hurting here.” Both their heads snap up and look at me, Alec hugs me hard, “Thank god you're okay.” I pat his arm, “Please don’t squeeze so tight.” He releases me and gives me a small kiss. I sit up more and hug him, “I’m glad you're okay.”
Willow pulls me into a soft hug, “you scared the shit outta me.”
“What exactly happened?” I ask since all the details were still fuzzy. “Bane must have punctured your lungs and some other organs. Since you're newly turned, you weren’t able to heal all that damage. So since Alec survived the turn, I had him bite you in hopes you turn into a hybrid and prayed to god the transformation would heal you.” I sit there for a minute and absorb all the information.
“So, I’m a hybrid now?” she nods yes. I guess there is going to be so much more to learn. But right now, I need some cuddles and sleep. “Alec, please help me to bed. I need cuddles and sleep stat.” He laughs a little and picks me up, “Copy that.” He carefully carries me upstairs and lays me in bed.
We cuddle up together and just relax for a bit, enjoying each other's company. I flip over so I’m facing him. “How are you feeling with all of this?” He watches me for a minute before responding, “I’m alright. I’m sure things will be different now, but I have you, and that’s all I need. I smile and kiss him, and he wraps his arms around me and pulls me closer. “I missed you so much.”
“I missed you.” I kissed him again, but this time I pushed him onto his back and climbed on top of him. I started grinding my hips lightly, causing him to moan slightly. He grabbed my hips and stopped me. “Are you sure? We just had a hell of a time.” I move his hands away and start moving again. “Fuck me Alec, I need to feel good after this shit show of a day.”
He didn’t hesitate after that. He flipped, causing me to land on my back. He wastes no time getting us both naked. He kisses me deeply and starts trailing kisses all over my body. He suck and nibbles my nipples while he slowly starts working my insides with his fingers. I moan as he bites hard and adds a third finger, moving faster. I grab his neck and pull him down, “Alec, I’m getting close, fuck me!” He removes his fingers and quicky slams into me with his thick cock.
