Chapter- 13:

Sleepover!

Me and Wen ChenLi are currently standing out of that bastard's lavish penthouse. Of course I've been here because of… Ahem… certain reasons. (The certain reason is baby Xien) I groan as I ring the doorbell and Reilivon opens the door, smiling.

“Welcome, welcome~”

I roll my eyes as I come in, I see that Uncle Hivolti is watching TV and Uncle Iloncer is cooking lunch. Still the same, eh? Wen ChenLi follows me in and Uncle Iloncer smiles as he sees me.

“Oh, XinLao! Nice to see you again.“

Wen ChenLi raises an eyebrow, looking up at me, perplexed.

“You've been to his house before?!“ he whispers to me.

I place a hand on, Wen ChenLi's mouth and glare down at him, threatening that if he told anyone he would be silenced forever. He flinches immediately understanding what my glare meant and keeps his head down.

I paste a smile on my face and look at, Uncle Iloncer.

“it's nice to see you as well, Uncle. How have you been? It must be irritating to raise a bastard like him.“ I glare at Reilivon.

Reilivon chuckles at my glare and rolls his eyes mockingly.

I grit my teeth and take a deep breath to contain myself before I end up punching him. Baby Xien notices me and smiles as he crawls over to me

“Ma-” I immediately grab him and shut his mouth.

Wen ChenLi doesn't even want to question me and I give him a deadly smile. I keep, baby xien in my arms and sigh. Turning my head over to, Uncle Iloncer.

“We'll be staying over for a project, Uncle. Pardon the intrusion.“

Uncle Iloncer waves his head and shakes his head, smiling.

“It's no big of a deal at all! Make yourselves comfortable like it's your own home, okay?“

I smile and bow, Wen ChenLi bows along with me and says.

“Thanks for having us, Uncle.“

Reilivon smirks and walks over to me and snatches baby Xien out of my arms. This man is wayyy too annoying for his own good. He chuckles, looking down at me.

“Well, let's head to the study room, shall we?“

I groan in annoyance and Wen ChenLi hides behind me.

“Yeah, yeah. Let's go.“ I say, my tone reveals a hint of frustration.

We all head towards the study room, Reilivon leading us there and enter. Damn, It's massive! I've never been to the study room before… it's very luxurious and filled with all sorts of books too- urgh… I wanna be rich.

We settle down at a table and I place my bag down and take out my laptop.

“Let's start off with the notes first, Wen ChenLi. Show yours.“

Wen ChenLi nods as he takes out the notes from his bag and I look through it. It's very organized, I smile slightly. As expected of Wen ChenLi. Everything is organized.

I flip through the pages and write down some of the bits needed for the project on my laptop. I turn over to, Reilivon.

“You. Take some reference from websites. And write down 10-15 lines of it.“

Reilivon smirks and salutes me.

“Aye, aye, Cap'in.“ He says with accent.

I roll my eyes and continue doing my work, Wen ChenLi is doing the formation while browsing through his laptop. 

The clock ticks and time slowly flies by… it's now 7:27 pm. I stretch, rubbing my eyes as I see the amount of work that we all did. We finished quite a lot on the first day.

“Let's stop here for today.“

Reilivon yawns, tired. He slumps down in his chair. 

“Finally… I thought that my fingers were gonna fall off!“ 

Wen ChenLi nods and groans, exhausted. I chuckle and say.

“Well, let's get something to eat. I'm kinda hungry right now.“

Reilivon smiles and nods, agreeing with my decision.

“Great idea! Let's go to the kitchen.“

We all get up and head to the kitchen, I see that, Uncle Hivolti and Uncle Iloncer aren't here… guess their in their room. Baby Xien as well… Reilivon grabs some snacks to eat and smirks.

“Got some snacks~! And since you guys are sleeping over… you can sleep in my room!“ He smiles.

I raise an eyebrow at his statement, confused.

“Isn't this literally a penthouse? Don't you have multiple guest bedrooms?“

Reilivon nods and smirks.

“Yeah, we do. But… it gives a close friendship feeling y' know?“ 

I groan, friendship my ass. I sigh and droop.

“Fine fine… let's go sleep in your room.“

I'm scrolling through my phone as, Reilivon and Wen ChenLi talk. They get along quite nicely. Despite Wen ChenLi talking shit about him before. Wen ChenLi is a beta… so he doesn't feel the pheromones of alphas or omegas. I…

My chest suddenly throbs in pain and I clutch onto my chest, sweating and panting. Reilivon and Wen ChenLi notice it.

Reilivon looks worried as he looks down at me and gets up from his bed.

“You okay-”

My mind… it hurts… my vision is going blurry… I…

My eyes widen as I stand up immediately and rush into the bathroom. I lock the door quickly as I lean against the door. My pheromones pour out like crazy… I grit my teeth and sweat, feeling a lot of pain…

“Fuck…”

I'm I… having a rut…? But… an irregular rut is very uncommon to me…! And there isn't even an omega here-! 

I pant, as I slump down and Reilivon bangs the door, worried.

“Hey! What the hell happened?! Open the door!“

My vision… is blurry… I wobble slightly and collapse.

Reilivon yells, worried and concerned.
