A blinding ray of crimson light streaked across the sky.
And then—boom.
The skyline exploded, buildings crumbling like sandcastles. Dust and fire swallowed everything in its path.
Is this… a demon? One villager cries
A figure stepped through the smoke—humanoid, yet twisted. Dark energy pulsed from its skin like a second body, warping the air.
Around it, magic-users launched spell after spell—flame arrows, wind blades, gravity bursts—but none of them landed. The demon walked through it all like it was nothing. Every one evacuate
“Is magic even working…?” someone muttered in horror.
The Battle Begins
Satori clenched his fists. What the hell is this how do I fight this think I can’t fight
He summoned a Solid Wall before the demon’s path, then transmuted it into a sharp earth spike, trying to slow it down.
It only staggered slightly.
It’s working… just barely.
Dorothy joined in. With a fierce incantation, she combined fire and earth, calling down a meteor the size of a house.
“Burn from the skies—Meteor Strike!”
The flaming rock crashed, shaking the battlefield—but when the smoke cleared, the demon only laughed.
“Magic in this era is weak. Let me show you what true power is.”
The demon raised its hand—and the sky cracked.
From the darkness above, an army of gargoyle-like beasts descended, wings of bone and claws of shadow.
They dove straight for the city.
Sasha command : We will defend the City
“Satori! On your left!” Sasha shouted.
He spun, casting Water Cannon, blasting several of the flying demons out of the sky. The power surged inside him—a growing spark.
“Impressive,” the demon growled. “But still nothing.”
Sasha stepped forward.
“Demon. I am Sasha Vellian, Witch of the North Gate. And I will end you.”
Satori joined her side.
“No way I’m running. Let’s go!”
He summoned a Clever Blade—a thin, curved water blade—and dashed forward, slicing through waves of gargoyles.
But the demon sneered.
“Minions aren’t enough for you? Then… how about these?”
With a roar, the demon opened a portal—releasing a swarm of goblins, twisted and rabid, eyes glowing red.
“They enjoy hunting… especially women. Hahaha!”
“You bastard!” Catherine shouted. Satouri what how can I fight this much of monster alone he though ti him self
She raised her hands, crackling lightning forming in her palms. Cathy followed, channeling water alongside her.
“Combine it!” Cathy yelled.
The two released a massive electroshock burst, stunning the entire field. Dozens of goblins dropped in an instant.
“NOW!” Dorothy called, unleashing a barrage of Light Bullets that rained down, vaporizing the stunned monsters.
Retreat and Resolve
Despite the teamwork, the numbers kept coming.
Sasha narrowed her eyes.
“There’s too many. We’re retreating!”
“What?! If we leave, this city—”
“If this city falls, the others will be next. But we still have a move left.” Satouri is there other way
Sasha knelt, drawing a massive symbol into the ground with light magic.
“Divine Seal—Barrier of the Eight Rings!”
A titanic barrier of layered circles rose high above the ground, engulfing the city in glowing sigils.
The demons howled as they were repelled.
“What is this?!” the demon roared, slamming against the wall of light.
“This will hold for a day… maybe two.”
She turned to the others, eyes filled with urgency.
“We need to go. Now. Our next target is Witch Number Eight—my master.”
