[Witch Temple, Somewhere Beyond Space]
The air shimmered with magical energy as the ancient teleportation circle lit up. Iris stepped forward, her staff glowing faintly, and placed a hand on Satori’s shoulder.
Iris: “Adel… you seek the truth of your past. But I warn you—some truths are better left forgotten. The person you are now… is different.”
Satori closed his eyes, steadying his breath.
Satori: “I still need to know. I need to understand who I was… and what I’ve become.”
Iris smiled gently, brushing his bangs aside and patting his head.
Iris: “Then brace yourself. What you’re about to see… is not a dream. It’s a memory. One that might haunt you.”
A blinding light surged between her fingers as the memory spell took hold.
[Flashback – 3,000 Years Ago]
Adel stood on a cliff overlooking a battlefield drenched in blood.
Her hands—covered in crimson.
Her eyes—burning with rage.
Adel: “Thousands... slaughtered. I dreamed of a world where witches could coexist with humans. With elves. With beastkin. All of us, living together. But instead... the humans turned on us.”
She turned, tears spilling from her eyes.
Adel: “Why…? Why did they fear us so much that they chose war over peace? This isn’t justice. This is genocide.”
Adel raised her staff, magic flaring around her like a storm.
Adel: “If the world won’t give us justice… then I’ll make it.”
[Back in the Present – Witch Temple]
Satori collapsed to one knee, panting heavily. His head throbbed.
Satori: “What was that...? That rage... that pain... it felt like mine.”
Iris: “It was only a fragment. One sliver of who you were thousands of years ago.”
She waved her staff. A second circle opened beneath them, and the group—Satori, Dorothy, Sasha, Cathy, and Iris—vanished in a flash of light.
When the world came back into view, they stood in a massive, arcane hall glowing with violet fire.
Iris: “Welcome to my temple. One of the last sanctuaries of true magic.”
The walls were covered in ancient runes. Floating candles lit the space. Statues of witches long forgotten lined the corridor.
Iris: “In this era, humans worship anything that grants them power. Some worship witches. Others fear us. Some wish to become us.”
Sasha stepped forward, bowing slightly.
Sasha: “My master—both Iris and Adel—once stood side by side to stop the war between witches and humans. Only a handful survived.”
Iris: “But even after the war, the gods punished humanity… for starting it.”
Satori’s voice trembled.
Satori: “So who am I really…? Am I Satori… or Adel?”
Iris looked him in the eyes, her voice calm.
Iris: “You are who you choose to be. Satori, Adel… neither name defines you. You are you.”
Satori hesitated, trying to process Iris’s words. A quiet realization settled in his heart.
Satori: “Yeah... I think it's good to be me.”
[Meanwhile – Demon Territories]
In a blackened war chamber deep within demon lands, a circle of generals surrounded a crimson map.
General Seasar: “In one month… we launch a surprise assault on the first human defense line.”
He slammed his fist into the table.
General Seasar: “We will burn their cities. Crush their temples. And destroy their will to resist.”
The demons around him roared in approval, bloodlust thick in the air.
A demon minion rushed into the chamber, kneeling before Seasar.
Minion: “My lord, everything is going according to plan. Yggdrasil will soon fall.”
Seasar grinned darkly, his eyes glowing with anticipation.
Seasar: “The age of witches is over… and the era of demons will begin.”
A deep voice cut through the war chamber.
Lord Samuel: “I will go to Avenus myself. The dark aura is thickening.”
Seasar bowed his head slightly.
Seasar: “Yes, my lord.”
