The last witch wise

Chapter 11 – Adel, Witch of Light

Chapter 11 – Adel, Witch of Light

Jun 03, 2025

Avelus – Hidden Glade Outside the Capital

They arrived hours later—exhausted, but alive.

The one who greeted them was Witch Adel—tall, veiled in moonlight, her presence calm and ageless.

Adel(Satori voice): “You made it. And you brought him… the one who awakened.”

Iris: “We came for your help. But we’ll help Avelus, too. In exchange… form an alliance with us.”

Adel(Satori) nodded solemnly.

Adel(Satori): “The last elven war ended 3,000 years ago. But history repeats… unless someone stands in the way.”

And so, with Adel’s help, they turned toward a new battle—not just against demons, but to save a kingdom now turning against itself.

The battlefield quieted. The dark mages had been defeated, their bodies strewn across the forest. But something strange was happening.

Satori floated in the air, surrounded by violet mist and electric sparks. His eyes glowed—one silver, one violet. His voice came out layered, as if two souls were speaking at once.

Satori: “So much blood again… Just like before. How long have I slept?”

Cathy (staring in disbelief): “That’s not just Satori…”

Iris (whispering): “Adel… You’re awake.”

Satori collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath. Iris rushed to his side. His hands shook—not from exhaustion, but confusion.

Satori: “What… what did I just do? That wasn’t me. That wasn’t me…”

Iris: “No. It was you. You are Adel, Satori. The last witch... and the first.”

Satori’s eyes widened.

Satori: “But… I’m not her. I didn’t choose this. I don’t remember any of it.”

Iris: “Your memories were sealed after the War of Extinction. To protect you. To give you a chance to live a new life as a human.”

Cathy: “And now that war is coming again. That seal is breaking.”

Satori looked down at his hands, remembering the feeling—lightning that wasn’t his, rage that didn’t feel like his own.

Satori: “Then what am I? A human? A witch? A weapon?”

Iris: “You’re all of them. But more than that—you’re a choice. The world tried to bury the past. But now the past is waking up, through you.”

Adel’s Power Awakens

Later that night, Satori sat under a glowing tree. He saw fragments of memories—cities burning, skies torn open, demons swarming. And at the center of it all… a woman in black, her face hidden by a veil.

Suddenly, Satori clutched his chest. A voice echoed in his mind—his own voice, older, colder.

Voice of Adel (within): “We lost everything because I hesitated. I won’t let you make the same mistake.”

Satori: “I’m not you!”

Adel: “Not yet.”

The Elves' Sanctuary

They finally reached the Elven capital, where war had fractured the kingdom. Iris spoke with the elder council in secret. The Loyalists knelt, recognizing the energy inside Satori.

Elf Elder: “It’s true… The power of Adel flows again. The Witch of lightlives.”

Satori: “I don’t want a throne. I just want to stop the demons.”

Elder: “Then wield what is yours. And may the storm rise again.”

Chapter 11 – Adel, Witch of Light

“You are too naïve, child.”
A voice echoed inside Satori’s mind—faint yet ancient. “This world is cruel, just like the one you came from. Suffering, betrayal... they wait around every corner. If you wish to survive, you need more than strength. You need clarity. A strong mind.”

Satori tried to ignore the voice—Adel’s voice—lingering inside him like a whisper from a forgotten past. He clenched his fists.

“I decide what I become,” he muttered.

Betrayal in the Elven Halls

“Satori, are you alright?” Sasha asked, noticing his unease.

“I’m fine,” he lied, steadying himself. “Let’s keep moving.”

Cathy suddenly stopped. “Everyone—quiet. I sense corrupted elves nearby. We’ll have to hide our miasma if we want to avoid being noticed.”

An elven elder arrived. “This way,” he said. “I will lead you to the King.”

They followed him into a grand but empty hall.

“Where is the Queen?” Sasha asked.

“I’m sorry…” the elder turned, pain in his voice. “If I don’t do this, my family will die.”

Suddenly, corrupted elves ambushed them, blades flashing in every direction.

“An ambush!” Cathy shouted.

Blood sprayed—Satori staggered back, coughing as crimson spilled from his lips.

“Satori!” Cathy rushed to him.

“I’m okay,” he said, standing. “I can still fight.”

Battle with the Corrupted

The group launched their spells. Cathy summoned Water Serpents, but they shattered on impact. Elves—bound to magic by life itself—were resisting her attacks.

“Set the room on fire!” Sasha commanded.

“What?” Satori blinked.

“Trust me—do it now!”

Dorothy and Satori cast flames on the wooden floor, igniting the room. Smoke and heat warped the air. Water and light spells clashed together, blasting an opening through the enemy line.

They escaped the trap.

Sasha turned to the elder elf, her eyes cold.

“Or should I call you what you are now—a demon.”

The elder’s body twisted and warped. His skin turned dark, his eyes glowing red. “You saw through my deception. Then I’ll be the one to take your heads!”

With a roar, he transformed into a massive demonic beast, towering over them. Magic spells bounced off his thick hide. Nothing worked.

The Final Strike

Satori turned to Athena. “Now!”

Athena’s light magic surged through her limbs, enhancing her body beyond human limits. Moving faster than the eye could follow, she blurred forward, slicing deep into the beast's shoulder.

“Satori!” Sasha shouted. “I’ll heal you—”

“I’m fine,” he gritted through the pain. “We have one chance. Let’s restrain him!”

“Stone Bind!” Satori shouted, “Eat magic surging up from the ground.

“Frozen Shackles!” Dorothy added, locking the creature’s legs in water and ice.

“Thunder Cage!” Sasha summoned a roaring lightning dragon that encircled the monster.

“Ten seconds,” Cathy said. “That’s all we’ve got!”

Athena flashed forward again, faster than lightning itself. Her blade shone with white-hot light, slashing the beast with divine speed. Sasha’s lightning struck simultaneously, and together they landed the final, devastating blow.

The beast screeched as its body burned from the inside out and collapsed into ash.

“How…? My power… fading…” the demon whispered with its last breath.

Sasha stood over it.

“This is what you deserve.”

Alliance of Light

From the shadows, the Elven King stepped forward, eyes filled with sorrow. He dropped to his knees before Satori and the group.

“Oh, great Witch… Adel. I know who you truly are. Please, accept anything from me—wealth, knowledge, relics. Help avenge my people and my fallen family.”

Sasha shook her head.

“We don’t want your treasure. We need your support.”

She stepped forward, her voice firm.

“The demons are returning. They’ve already taken other lands. We can help restore order to your kingdom—but only if you lend us your military. We need your warriors in the fight to come.”

The Elven King lowered his head.

“Then so be it. You have my armies.”
