Working with the public can be pretty challenging. It seems like some people will mistake basic kindness and customer service for something more. If you are ever unfortunate enough to be in that situation, I recommend making your manager and coworkers aware. I can't tell you how many times I've been saved by my coworkers. Doing your job is important, but it's not more important than your safety!
