We walk into the boba shop, the walls decorated with vines and flower stamps. It’s small but not cramped. There’s not many people, just me and Cimin. And of course the workers, which as i get a closer look on it’s the same girl. She looks exactly like earlier today. It really is her. We go to the counter and order our drinks. Chimin; A strawberry tea with mango jelly and passion fruit bubbles. Me; A mango tea with blueberry jelly and lychee bubbles. As we wait for our tea, we sit at a small round table with a cute vase, with my favourite flower in; a beautiful cherry blossom. It smells good here, a mix of a flower garden and sweetness. The perfect mix for a place like this. I look at Chimin.
“I’ve been craving boba for so long,” She says.
“Same,” I reply. “It’s been a while, hm?”
“It has.” She looks around. She takes the things she got from the K-star store and starts to ramble about them to me. My mind drifts off and I occasionally look at the worker, the one I met earlier today. I look at her beautiful curves, her uniform hugging them perfectly. I look her up and down from time to time, and I manage to get a name tag out of those few glances. The name tag says: Tida and in a smaller text under it says: Chai'at. Tida Chai’at. Wait. That’s a Thai name? I didn’t know she was from Thailand. I guess she doesn’t have much of an accent.
“Helloo?” Chichi’s voice startles me. I look over at her and laugh a little embarr- assed.
“Oh sorry, what were you saying?" I smile awkwardly and she continues talking about the BTS albums.
After a bit of talking Tida brings us our drinks.
“Two lovely drinks for two lovely girls” Tida says as she puts the drinks down on the table. I can feel my cheeks starting to heat up and they both notice.
“Oh, sorry, did I fluster you?” Tida leans a bit closer and pushes a strand of my hair behind my ear.
My cheeks get even warmer and she pulls away. Her boss yells from behind the counter.
“Tida, what did i tell you about flirting with the customers!”He yells.
“You’re just jealous that I can score more bitches than you!” She yells back and it makes both me and Chimin laugh. “It’s true though.” she whispers. She winks at me and then walks away.
I sit there with a slight warmth still on my cheeks. I’m not blushing at her tucking away my hair or winking at me.. am I? I’m having a gay panic right now. Oh my god.
“You okay over there?” Chemin asks.
“Yeah I'm fine, let’s just drink these shall we?” I say and take a drink of my boba. But when I noticed the name on the cup, it’s not my name like I told her. She wrote dear.
