What stories need isn't conflict itself but tension (one of the big four: Attachment, Novelty, Tension and Satisfaction; "ANTS" as the fellas at Mythcreants say). People conflate the two because conflict is an easy way to create tension. But it isn't the only one, and besides there are kinds of stories that can get by with very low tension.
I tried coming out as a lesbian. My abusive, ultra-religious mother forced me back into the closet. Drawing these strips is one of my ways to cope. Updated Wednesdays.
