BILAL: (Mouth agape as he sees the armored train, "The Behemoth") "It's… bigger than I imagined."

MERENJI: (Scoffs) "What? Did you think we were going to travel on the back of a turtle?"

TAHER: (Puts a hand on Bilal's shoulder) "Stay close to us. The crowds here are dangerous."

(Taher shows his responsible "big brother" side, contrasting with Merenji's bullying, creating an instant dynamic.)

[SCENE 4]

(As they try to board, a large guard stops them at the car's gate. He's a member of the Bee Gang who controls the station.)

GUARD: (With a greedy look) "Five kids traveling alone? That's going to cost you a 'passage tax'."

(Merenji gets ready for a fight, but Maddah stops him. Maddah steps forward and begins talking to the guard in a low, fast voice, using information he knows about rival gangs and weaknesses in the guard's sector.
