The next day in the earth district:

I can’t believe Hayden has put his trust in me to do this. Even though me and Vee haven’t had one of these POV things in a while. It's like Arthur couldn’t find a place for us. Sense he is so busy hyping up the shipping of Hayden and Cassie. Yeah I know I didn't take this as a romance either like most of you. Hopefully if I do well here maybe I'll get more book time. Enough of the fourth wall break the trial is about to start.  The announcer walk up to the stand. Hello, I am here to explain the rules and gadgets that will be used in this trial. He stated. First off there is no killing only non deadly spells will be tolerated, there are traps all around the distinct to stop you. And these are the drones, they will follow you to show you the way through the distinct as well as video you for the crowd. With that I will now begin the first trial. Three! Two! One! Go!!! With that i ran off. I ran for my life because if i didn’t i would let hayden down, that is my motivation to keep growing my straight to someday beat hayden. The first trap was activated. We had to climb a mountain that had land mines in it. That set back some of the players. But I kept on going. As I ran up the mountain with earth magic I had to keep dodging exposition and body’s of players. As I get to the top I hear fighting. And the sight of it amazed me. Mr. Brown, our homeroom teacher is fighting a student. With bodies of other students under him. As he finished that student in a flash. He turns to me. James! Haha it’s good to see you. Mr. Brown what are you doing here? I asked. Well James, I’m one of the mid-level bosses for this trial. Well does that mean i need to defeat you? No, you just need to get past me. Ok then. I say before I block his vision of me with a wall of earth. Hahahaha you think that can stop me, you're sadly mistaken. He came charging but I planned for this. I created a tunnel down into the mountain and covered the top to look like it did before. Well James you sly dog but you still underestimate me. Mr. Brown said before slamming his sword into the top of the mountain exposing my passion. I looked up at him, he had the widest grin. I quickly dodge and use my earth magic on my legs to move faster. And get behind his legs like Hayden taught me and slice the achilles tendon. Immobilized him and sprinted off to finish the race. JAMES GET BACK HERE!!!!! Mr. Brown yelled at me as I ran off the mountain. And making it back safely to the ground. Ahead I go reaching top three. In first place is a guy who looks kind of like Jesus. He looks like Hayden a bit but that doesn’t matter, his long hair goes well with his beard. He also had the ears with purple flames as Hayden did. But he had mirror sunglasses on. In second place was a girl with two different colored eyes and white-bloonde hair, short-long hair and cat ears that was just skipping talk about not having a care in the world. I feel like I could just stare at her for hours in silace. Wait what am i saying i need to focus. But for some reason I can't keep a straight mind while looking at her. I see the gate to the water district. Suddenly she turns around. Her eyes are so beautiful, the right one is purple and the left is pink. She caught me staring at her. But unexpectedly she gives me a bright smile and waves at me. For some reason my heart started beating faster than before and my face started feeling hot. What is happening to me?
