Sorry for missing last week's upload! I've been working on a shop update + my portfolio which made me too tired to finish this page. Literally, too! I couldn't keep my eyes open. I thought I'd maybe do two this week to make up for it, but figured if I carry a "catch-up" mindset all the time it'll burn me out in the long run. I think I needed the week off as a small break.
(Also.. Little secret as to why is because I'm very indecisive when it comes to coloring backgrounds. Sometimes it comes naturally, but when it doesn't it feels like the bane of my existence and has me wishing I made the comic black and white to begin with HAHA. It's definitely in my list of things to study more of.)
I'm thinking I might take two or three weeks off after every completed chapter so I can gather my thoughts and work on cover/promotional art for the comic. That might seem like a long time, but I'd like to introduce each new chapter with 3 to 5 pages, so the wait will balance it out. Anyways, my back hurts from being hunched over like a shrimp, so see you next week!
