Caius got the one eyed green monster headband, Seraphine got the mouse with the red bow, and Lucien himself got the black mouse ears.

The scene of the family with their adorable headbands made the theme park atmostphere liven up even more.

Lucien also bought Shadow inside a see-through bag, he felt pity for his furry friend as there would be no one to look after her at home.

The first ride that they went on was the bumping teacups, the three people all squeezed inside one teacup, Lucien placed Shadow on his lap while his dad steered the teacup.

The ride was a bit dizzying yet fun, Seraphine enjoyed it very much, and would giggle once every so often during the ride.

The next ride was a rollercoaster, the line was very long so they bought the fast past and got on the ride much faster.

Lucien's mom and dad sat together, while Lucien sat alone while hugging Shadow inside the bag.

The countdown started, then the rollercoaster started to move. 

It started slowly rising up, the anticipation made the passenger's hairs stand on end.

It was not until it was almost at the very top that everybody was really terrified, except for a few strange individuals that liked the thrill.

Lucien clutched the bag with Shadow tightly, the rollercoaster dropped, but something unexpected happened, Lucien's cart fell off the rails!

Lucien screamed, the height of this ride was very high, and there would be no chance in hell for a human to survive if they fall from such a height.

Lucien's falling body made all the passengers scream in terror, Lucien's mom cried, and his dad screamed to call out for help, hoping someone could catch his son.

Lucien didn't know what to do, was this the end? 

But he didn't want to leave, not when he'd gotten himself back.

He knew he was going to die, and there was no point in thinking of such things.

When suddenly, a shadow of a man hugged Lucien mid-air, he patted his back gently, as if to tell him that everything's going to be alright.

Before he could react, the stretcher caught him and he didn't splat on the floor....

He saw Shadow's bleeding body near him, and his eyes started to dampen, that was the last moment before he woke up.

When he opened his eyes, he felt his cheeks were wet, and his eyes shed a few more tears.

10 minutes passed and he finally calmed down, that dream was too heartbreaking, giving you hope only to break it.

Within a span of a night, he experienced a whole rollercoaster of emotions; shame, confidence, joy, and sadness. 

It was all too much to handle.

He walked to his bathroom and saw his appearance in the mirror like he just went through a break-up.

His eyes were red, hair disheveled like a bird's nest, and his once pink lips were bitten cherry red.

Lucien sighed before washing his face and combing his hair, restoring his previous appearance.

He didn't feel like logging into EVE today since his dream still tortured his mind and he wasn't in the mood to play games.

So he just layed in his bed, watching random videos in his feed.

A pop up notification disturbed his watching session,

[ Grey ] : "Not playing today?"

Lucien was still in a somber mood and wasn't interested in replying, but he still pushed through because he was after all his gaming buddy.

He didn't want to disappoint him unlike someone who left for three weeks and didn't even bother to send one text message.

So he typed slowly,

[ Lucien ] : "No, not feeling good "

Grey's reply came swiftly,

[ Grey ] : "What happened?"

[ Lucien ] : "...Just had a bad dream, that's all."

[ Grey ] : "Do you want something to eat?"

Lucien stared blankly at Grey's text message, unsure of how to reply.

[ Grey ] : "I wasn't sure what you'd like to eat, so I just sent pizza, I hope that makes you feel better."

Lucien felt his face getting hot, and his ears tinged red.

[ Lucien ] : "You didn't have to do that..."

Grey smiled at his response, and sent out a witty reply.

[ Grey ] : "It's OK, it's just what a good husband would do."

Lucien felt his heart beat a bit faster, he didn't understand why, but just said thanks.

[ Lucien ] : "Okay, um... Thank you, I appreciate it. 

Grey looked at the sticker that Lucien sent, and felt that he was acting very cute today.

He didn't know when, but ever since he started playing EVE, he couldn't help but follow Lucien.

It was when he first started out during the apartment scene when he killed his first zombie, he felt that the difficulty of the game was too hard.

When he exited his room, he saw a crowd of people, most likely his neighbours, and he could hear loud gunshots coming from the staircase.

There, at the end of the corridor, was a man in a long black coat, combat boots, and a pistol in each hand.

In a matter of seconds, the zombie horde that was once the residents of this apartment was obliterated by the powerful man.

Grey looked up to see his username,

His eyes sparkled.

At first, he just wanted to play this game to relieve stress from work, but seeing BloodReign's performance just now, something sparked inside him.

Such a thought entered his mind, and from then on, he worked hard to increase his levels and stock up on resources.

He worked so hard that he even neglected his work to play EVE.

He lost sleep trying to search the internet for all kinds of techniques to fight against zombies and how to obtain certain weapons.

He had to be strong before they could stand on equal footing, he thought.

And then came the day, the day when he was finally top two in the server, he opened a chat conversation with BloodReign.

<[ KillSwitch ] : "I bet you can't win against me in a 1v1."

A few seconds later a reply that screamed irritated came.

<{ [ BloodReign_666 ] } : "And if you lose?"

Grey's heart raced, he didn't expect him to reply so quickly.

<[ KillSwitch ] : "I'll delete my account and never play again."

<[ KillSwitch ] : "But if I win.... Then you have to be my friend."

Lucien at the time thought that his request was weird, but his pride got hurt and he didn't want to lose to such scum, so he accepted the challenge.

A few hours passed of just them fighting, it was not until the 5 hour mark that they both we're getting low on health, Grey really wanted to win so desperately, if he didn't win this then everything that he worked so hard for would go to waste.

So when BloodReign was about to stab him, he toggled the crouch pose and immediately did a 3-skill combo.

Lucien was caught off-guard and didn't have enough time to dodge, so he died right there, making KillSwitch the winner.

Grey froze at the spot, he didn't think that move would work, when he moved his mouse to exit the match, his hand shaked so badly, that he had to just sit there for 10 minutes before the adrenaline finally dropped and he got to exit the match.

Lucien, although pissed that he lost to such petty tricks, still kept his word and accepted his friend request.

Although he hated cheaters, he was still a man of his word.

From then on, the two started to slowly get to know each other by doing Zombie boss raids, and what is meant by "getting along" was just KillSwitch pestering BloodReign to come play with him.

Although severely irritated at first, Lucien eventually adapted to his antics and realized that the two actually hit it off.

They had the same thoughts when it came to battle, and would synergize together as a team.

That's why, when doing events and farming for materials, the two often go together to increase efficiency.

It was only when Grey had to leave the country for a three-week business trip that they weren't able to play together.

During those three weeks, Grey wanted to play EVE so badly with BloodReign that he would sneak out of meetings to go to the staircase and play but before he could log in, a staff member would always find him.

So after a few more failed attempts, he finally gave up trying and decided to focus on getting work done instead, the faster he gets this done, the quicker he could play EVE with BloodReign again.

So for three weeks, he worked tirelessly using BloodReign and EVE as his only motivation to get through the days when he didn't feel like working.

Grey Dusk, was actually a CEO at a major supermarket company, he is known for his all-or -nothing decisions that make the company go to even higher heights and swift damage control when things don't go as planned.

He was elected as one of the highest-rated executives in the country, and has made multiple brand deals and collaborated with other big titan companies.

Though, that image seems to crumble whenever other employees see him playing EVE in his free time.

Some gossip that he secretly has a sugar baby in-game, and feeds her sugar whenever she's upset.

But maybe they've read too many romance novels, as the opposite is actually the truth.

Their big, and mighty CEO was playing with a man, calling him "wife" and spoiling him with in-game items and food whenever he's upset.
