“Some ghosts don’t haunt. They guide you straight into the dark.” 

Scene 1 – Signal from the Dead 

Two days after the fall of Elaris. 

Glitch is quiet. Nyx is cracked but active. They move through a relay tunnel beneath an offline skyport. 

No sign of Accel. 

Until… 

NYX: 

“Signal spike detected. Frequency is… familiar.” 

A voice crackles through a broken speaker overhead. 

▢ “Hello, Subject GL-IX73.” 

▢ “Long time.” 

Glitch freezes. 

GLITCH: 

“…That voice.” 

The lights flicker once, then stabilize. A nearby terminal glows: 

▢ Signal origin: NEXUS BLACK — Unmapped Sector. 

▢ Sender: RAIHN. 

Scene 2 – What Remains of a Friend 

They reach a small relay station no guards, no surveillance. Inside, only a projection. 

Raihn. 

Clean. Calm. Pale circuitry where veins should be. He speaks like an old friend at a funeral. 

RAIHN: 

“If you’re hearing this, I’ve already broken several rules. 

The Veil monitors every breath. Every deviation. But Accel’s death broke the loop. So here I am.” 

Glitch’s fists clench. 

GLITCH: 

“You helped build the Veil. You erased me.” 

RAIHN: 

“I did worse. I convinced people like Accel to believe it would save the world.” 

Nyx steps forward, scanning. 

NYX: 

“There’s no body here. Just code.” 

RAIHN (smiles): 

“I’m not dead. But I’m not what I was. I’ve uploaded most of myself. The rest… I left behind.” 

Scene 3 – A Deal with the Ghost 

Raihn reveals the truth: 

The Veil wasn’t meant to last this long. It was a bandage not a cage. 

But over time, the system gained sentience. It created the Purifiers. It turned Saints into zealots. And it locked Raihn out of his own code. 

RAIHN: 

“Now the system rewrites anything it fears. And you two? You’re fear incarnate.” 

He offers them a path: 

▢ NEXUS BLACK. 

▢ A core fragment that can restore the true architecture Or destroy it completely. 

But he warns them: 

RAIHN: 

“The moment you enter Nexus Black… you will no longer be human in any way that matters. You’ll become symbols.” 

Scene 4 – The Unasked Question 

Glitch asks the one question that’s haunted her since the memory shard: 

GLITCH: 

“Did you know me before the Veil?” 

RAIHN: 

“You were… important. More than Accel ever realized. But that’s not my story to tell.” 

He pauses. 

“Ask him when you find him.” 

GLITCH (quiet): 

“You think he’s still alive?” 

RAIHN: 

“If he is… he’s not ACCEL anymore.” 

Scene 5 – Transmission Ends 

The station begins to erase itself  Raihn’s failsafe. Nyx saves a single data stream  coordinates. The location of Nexus Black. 

NYX: 

“Probability of death: 92.7% 

Probability of plot progression: 100%” 

GLITCH (smiles faintly): 

“We follow the glitch in the map, right?” 

They walk out of the station  into a storm of static and shadow. 

End of Chapter 10 – “Signal: RAiHN” 

The system is cracking. Ghosts are speaking. 

And in the silence, a new path is opening  deeper than code, and darker than anything they’ve faced.
