Here's a little behind the scenes talk: So I wrote the first draft of this story YEARS ago, but the BFF necklace was a new addition for the comic. I needed a visual connected to Eve which told the audience which moment in time we were in (full necklace=future, half necklace = past) and then be able to take that symbol and alter it further as we mucked with the timeline (like the McFly family photo in Back to the Future. But do we follow the same rules of time travel... I dunno (I mean, I do actually know, I'm just being coy)).
