Zion’s reply came quickly.

She hesitated, then typed:
Someone quoted it. Word for word.
The typing dots appeared. Stopped. Reappeared. Five minutes pass. Then:
That’s weird. Maybe they read it on your laptop or something?
Tobi stared at the screen.
She hadn’t said what line. Or where it came from.
And she never left the draft open.

Tobi finds Zion after class. She near the food vendor. A bottle of malt in her hand.
Tobi forced a smile.
She smiles back. Casual. "Hey. You disappeared yesterday."
"Headache," Tobi replied.
"Still thinking about that note thing?"
Tobi nodded slowly. "I’ve been wondering if someone’s playing games."
"What kind of games?"
"Like…” Tobi pretends to laugh. “Someone I know is just messing with me."
Zion shrugged. "We no reach that level of drama abeg."
She opens the malt. Takes a sip. Doesn’t meet Tobi’s eyes.
Later, heading home, Tobi took the long route.
That’s when she saw them.
Zion. Lanre. Talking behind the library wing.
Her arms folded. His voice low. Then… he handed her something.
Tobi stepped back quickly before they spotted her.
That night, Tobi couldn't settle.
The note in her bag feels heavier than paper.
They’ll believe it was you.
Maybe they already did.
