Fire Doesn’t Want to Hurt You

Last Page: Author’s Whisper

Last Page: Author’s Whisper

Jul 05, 2025

I wrote this because I feel lonely.

Not for being alone—

but for seeing what others bury.

If you see it too:

Maybe we are rare.

Maybe we are lonely.

But we have so much love to give.

So I choose to stay.

I choose to see.

Even when the truth stings.

----------------------

Author's note:

Some people tell me,

“Just look on the bright side.”

But the world has two children: joy and sorrow.

And if you say you love the world—

then love both her children.

I wrote this not to be sad,

but to be honest.

The fire isn’t evil.

The shadow isn’t wrong.

They’re just parts of existence

most people try not to see.

But I see them.

And maybe you do too.

That doesn’t make us broken.

It just means we’re not lying.

If you felt something while reading—this is why I wrote it.

✍️ Read “Why I Write” → https://tuanwhispers.substack.com/p/author-warning-i-write-many-genres

For the ones who survived quietly. For the ones still climbing out.

———-And I have little plan for my next story here

⚠️ Author Warning: I Write Many Genres and Taste-Tests

Hi. I like emotional flow. I write when I feel like it.

If I’m feeling soft, the story is soft.

You’re reading from my kind, shy, quiet side.

If I’m burning, it becomes a tragedy—

You’re witnessing how dark and unhinged my imagination can get.

If I’m depressed, it becomes a sad story—with a bit of hope.

You’ll see how I often feel about the world:

confused, conflicted, complicated—but still trying to love it.

I’ll always add content warnings for intense pieces.

But I can’t possibly stick to one genre.

If I do, I’ll die of boredom. 💀

Sometimes I learn new things. My opinions shift. My writing evolves.

I’m human. I have many, many emotions.

What you’re reading is part of my soul—my strange, beloved children.

Even if the genre’s not your favorite,

I hope you can still feel how much I care about each piece.

Some days I want to heal.

Some days I want to ruin people with one sentence.

🌀 What you might get (some are future projects):

• Gentle slow-burns

• Ugly breakdowns

• Weird medical comedy

• A boy meowing mid-seduction

• Cults

So no, you won’t get a consistent flavor.

But you will get something alive.

I warn you.

If that scares you—good. I really mean it. You should run.

If that excites you—welcome home, my friends.

Fire Doesn’t Want to Hurt You
(Short-complete story)
—————

“Don’t go near the fire.”they said
And yes—it hurt.

But I stayed.
Because I wanted to understand..

And finally—
through ash and scar,
the fire stopped being a monster.
It became something else.

My companion.

———

I wrote this because I feel lonely.
Not for being alone—
But for seeing what others bury.

This is a story about walking together in the dark.
