Emerald kicked the door to her office open, rushing in and searching through the drawers on her desk. “Jeez, if you keep kicking your door open you'll break it.” Maple said, walking into an angry glare from Emerald. “You don't understand how serious this is! If Alister is going into hiding it means either whoever is After him is bad news, or whoever they work for is!” Emerald snapped rummaging through various file cabinets. “Where is it,” Emerald muttered to herself as Maple looked confused. 

“Is it because Alister is headed to Shackles tower?” Maple asked. All Maple knew about Shackles tower was that she was told to go there, the exact words she was always told when she asked was “It's where it ends and begins. Emerald slid a shelf over and pulled out a long metal pole. “Here it is, I need you to stay here and make sure nobody knows where I've gone,” Emerald said racing to the door, only for Maple to get in the way stopping her. “No i won't let you go till you explain what's going on with Alister and Shackles tower, and why he would run there to hide!” Maple said, holding up her hands.

Emerald shook her head and turned to mist, leaving Maple standing alone in the room. Tesla stood up wiping the sweat from her forehead as she looked at the scrap pile she had made below her. Turning back to the garbage pile she was digging through, Tesla heard a whisper on the wind. “Emerald i know it's you, if you want to talk you have to be solid,” Tesla said not bothering to look. Behind her a small version of Emerald stood there watching Tesla dig. “You need to stop what you're doing and head to Shackles tower Tesla.” Emerald said, annoyance her voice. Tesla let out a why should I grunt, to which Emerald replied, “Alister is headed there to hide!”

Tesla dropped her shovel and looked at Emerald asking how she knew he was in trouble. “Trust me I saw your code for when he goes to hide, we need to go make sure he's ok.” Emerald told her but Tesla shook her head. “The point of him hiding there is just that, it's to hide so that he can avoid dealing with people looking for him.” Tesla pointed out, this remark caused Emerald to grab Tesla and spin her around shouting, “THEY KNEW WHERE HE LIVED!” Tesla stared, worry filling her eyes, as Emerald said “Nobody but a select few people know where Alister lives and the people that do know, would rather die than give up one their own!” Emerald let go and Tesla started to pace back and forth. “It'll take me a few hours to get to Shackles tower but I'll try to make it fast. If they knew where Alister lived, it's possible they know where he would run to.” Emerald nodded and vanished, a whisper in the wind saying “I'm already headed there, be quick!”

Driving through the city and several garbage mountains, Emerald thought about who could be after Alister. “It can't be one of the gangs, Alister keeps to himself and for the most part, if anyone tries to find him as Azazel they wouldn't bother out of fear of death. So who and why are those two after him?” Emerald drove out of the city, Fabuloso looming above but slowly fading into the distance. Shackles tower is where things end and beginnings start, but there's more to it that Emerald refused to admit. Off in the distance she saw a tall black tower missing several pieces on it. “You better be ok Alister, cuz I'll kill you if not!” Emerald said shifting gears and accelerating.
