The final round is about to start. Lucian and Fenrir prepare to face Garon and Jotun. Both of them know that they are in for a tough fight. As the combatants enter the Arena, the Announcer prepares to announce the final match of the Raptorus city tournament.

“People of the Galaxy! We come today for the final match of the Raptorus city tournament! Our first combatant, hailing from the planet Lupus, we have Lucian and Fenrir! Our second combatant, a wandering Bruton who seeks the trill of battle, is Garon and Jotun! Two combatants enter. Only one leaves. Ready. Set. Rumble!” Says the Announcer as the crowd cheers.

As the match begins, Fenrir transforms into his knight form and charges towards Jotun. He knows he’s not as nimble as Valkyrie, so Fenrir has to aim his sword at Jotun’s joints. As Fenrir is about to strike, Jotun blocks the attacks with their thick armor. Slash after slash with Fenrir’s sword is unable to leave a single dent in Jotun’s armor. That’s when Jotun grabs Fenrir by the sword and slams him to the ground. Jotun then follows this up by shoulder tackling Fenrir which sends the Timber wolf flying into a nearby wall. As Fenrir hits the wall, he reverts back into his normal form and crashes to the ground. Despite the damage sustained, Fenrir gets back up ready for another attack. Fenrir then sinks his teeth into Jotun in the hopes of doing some damage. Jotun responds by pummeling Fenrir into the ground. Jotun continues to beat the everlasting scrap metal out of Fenrir. Even still, Fenrir refuses to back down and with that determination, Fenrir gains a surge of energy. This energy changes Fenrir’s appearance once more, granting him bright red armor and blades on each front leg. In the driver’s seat, Lucian sees the name of this new form, ronin.

With this new form, Fenrir zips past Jotun and slice back of their right knee. Jotun tries to attack Fenrir with their buzzsaws but Fenrir is too fast for them. Fenrir then slices Jotun’s left shoulder joint, limiting the gorilla’s movement even more. Jotun responds by aiming their energy cannon and firing at Fenrir. With lightning speeds, Fenrir dodges each shot and slices the barrel of the cannon. In the process of this attack, Fenrir topples Jotun over and points his blade at Jotun’s neck. Knowing there’s no way out, Jotun raise their only functional arm and surrenders giving Fenrir the win. And with that, Fenrir and Lucian are the winners of the Raptorus city tournament. The crowd cheers at the sight of such a thrilling match.

“People of the Galaxy! Our winner for this tournament! Lucian and Fenrir!” The Announcer proclaims as the crowd cheers even louder.

After the match, Lucian and Fenrir go to check on Ava who’s been busy repairing Valkyrie. Ava congratulates Lucian and Fenrir on their win. As they are about to return to the Garuda, they are met with Garon. Garon approaches the team and makes an offer.

“You two did incredibly back there! The way you both drove your mech, it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen!” Says Garon, impressed by their performance.

“Glad to hear. Though I think Fenrir and Valkyrie also deserve some of the credit.” Says Ava, nodding in solidarity with Valkyrie.

“Fair enough. But I did notice you lack significant firepower. You can only rely on speed for so long. How about I tag along with you?” Asks Garon.

“Wait really? Sure! We have plenty of space for an extra passenger.” Says Lucian.

“Hold on. If we’re going to be a proper team, then we need a name to go by.” Says Ava.

“Fair point. Any ideas?” Asks Garon, drawing a blank.

“How about Star Riders?” Lucian offers.

“That can work.” Says Ava, approving of the name.

“Fine by me.” Says Garon, also approving of the name.

With Team Star Riders formed, they all head for the Garuda and make their way for the next tournament. Meanwhile, a Mysterious figure watches the Garuda fly away. As they head for their ship, the Mysterious figure tracks where the Star Riders are going and begins to follow. The light of the ship reveals a logo of a serpent surrounding a planet on their hand. This is no simple tattoo. This logo is the insignia of a notorious criminal organization known as Ragnarök.
