Yui sat comfortably in the passenger seat of the rental car, her gaze shifting between the beautiful coastline view outside and the man at the helm. Adam, ever so mysterious and charming, was navigating the car smoothly down the coastal road, the scenic panorama of Marbella and Puerto Banus shrinking in their rearview mirror. The classic rock that filled the car with rhythmic echoes was a surprising yet delightful discovery of Adam's tastes. 

As the pleasant notes of Pink Floyd resonated in the car, the memory of her father playing the same tunes in her childhood swirled in Yui’s mind. 

Breaking the tranquil silence, she asked, "So, where are we going?" 

"I thought we had a deal where we agreed you wouldn't ask. Where do you think we're going?" he replied, a teasing smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. He was looking at the road ahead, but still somehow managed to make Yui feel like she had his full, undivided attention.

"Actually, I have no idea," she admitted, her tone echoing a hint of pride. The idea of blindly venturing into an adventure was so unlike Miss Ishida. But Yui was determined to give Miss Ishida a few days off.  

"That deserves a prize," he replied, sounding genuinely impressed. His fingers traced a gentle path on her smooth, pale legs, adding another layer of anticipation to the mystery.

"You haven't talked about work once since last night either. The therapy seems to be working, Miss Ishida," he teased. A seemingly innocent remark, yet filled with flirtatious undercurrents.

"Therapy? What therapy?" she retorted, playfully parting her legs a little, engaging in the harmless flirtation. 

"For workaholics," he clarified, expertly navigating the car with one hand while the other found a comforting spot on her inviting leg.

Her body language seemed to work wonders on him, because he was suddenly very willing to share, though his voice had gone a tone deeper. "We're going to Gibraltar. We'll walk around then find a nice, proper hotel where I can... enjoy you in a proper bed... and a proper bath and on a proper floor. Sounds good?" 

His words sent a thrill running through her. "Sounds very proper indeed. Gibraltar? I've heard wonderful things about it." 

"I asked my sister where to take you," Adam confessed casually, his fingers subtly tensing against her leg. 

"That’s thoughtful of you.” 

"Is it? I'd say it's just common sense. You're hard to impress, Miss Ishida," he responded, his tone playfully challenging. 

"I'd say you are harder," she retorted, unable to suppress a nervous laugh at her own risque joke. 

"Pro move," Adam admitted, momentarily brought back from his unorthodox thoughts involving the sun dress she wore and those smooth, smooth thighs. "I've been hard for a week to tell you the truth. I love water. but all those baths in the sea were to calm other demons."

"Really?" Yui's voice chimed with an undeniable tinge of satisfaction. Little miss corporate was slowly melting down under the Costa del Sol sun. "And the Spanish lady from that night?" she prodded further. 

"I had to blow off steam somehow. Also my sister's idea," Adam responded, defensiveness slightly creeping into his tone. 

"Really? Going to pin everything on her?" Yui retorted, irritation faintly hiding behind her words.

"Not at all, I'm just an infuriating asshole sometimes and it seems I just keep messing things up with you no matter what angle I try," Adam admitted, a rare moment of self-awareness breaking through his stubborn exterior.

"Alright, I might not have been the easiest person to deal with either," Yui confessed, her lips pulling into an amused smirk. She always had a mischievous glint in her eyes, as if she was hiding an inside joke. “And maybe asshole is a bit too harsh.”

"Okay, you name it then. The point is… I was sold the moment I set eyes on you at the airport, all scandalized and proper," Adam confessed, his voice trailing off, lost in a memory. The day they had met was etched into his memory, Yui’s intimidating little frown, her perfect posture and immaculate suit, the annoyed flush of her skin, everything about her had stirred something within him.

"You have to admit it. You were out of line being late then acting all smartass. It was so annoying," Yui said, her gaze drifting from Adam to the breathtaking scenery surrounding them before her eyes returned to him and her lips curled into the sweetest smile that made her cute dimples stand out.

"Actually, I was late because of these," Adam pointed towards his tattooed arms.

"You got a tattoo the day we left. Are you completely out of your mind?" Yui fired back, her eyebrows shooting up in surprise. He chuckled, amusement dancing in his eyes as he slowed the car for a curb, and reluctantly removed his hand from her thigh to change gears. 

"No… I'm not an idiot. A tattoo requires a LOT of aftercare. I mean they stopped me for a body check because of the tattoos." 

"Because… you look suspicious?" Yui asked, her eyebrows knitting together in a cute little frown. 

"Yeah… that's exactly why. You see a fit tattooed guy in Romania, you immediately assume I'm up to no good. Eastern Europe logic," he commented, a trace of sarcasm lacing his words.

"Oh, it is the same in Japan," Yui hurried to answer, her voice rising with excitement. "You would be stared at and called scary." 

"Well… that explains your attitude towards me," Adam said, his tone lacking its usual excitement. The conversation had obviously taken a turn he was not happy with.  

"Oh no no... I run towards scary, not away from it," Yui laughed, her hand gesturing excitedly as she spoke. "I like scary and big. I can handle it, and I take pride in that."

"Oh yeah, you can take it," Adam winked at her, her ridiculous attempt at saving the mood actually working. In turn, his reply caused  a wave of color to wash over Yui's face. "You were made to drive me out of my mind, small and feisty. That tiny waist and that fine ass..." his voice trailed off, admiration resonating in his tone.

“You don’t have to compliment me,” she whispered, trying to look away from him and back at the blindingly bright scenery of Costa del Sol curving into Gibraltar Strait.

"I don’t have to, but I want to," his voice sounded suddenly serious. "The way you hold yourself up to the highest standards, the way you expect the same from others, and everything you hide under that hard shell, it’s all very attractive."

"Adam Stroe, you're trying to charm me," Yui retorted, her words carrying a hint of playful accusation as she chose to keep hiding her expression under her bangs. She was used to men finding her ambition a turn off, not praising it.

"Yes, and apparently it's working," he responded, his voice laced with the satisfaction of victory. “So see that?” The landscape unfurled before them, opening up to the Strait of Gibraltar with the city still a speck at a distance of a good ten or twenty kilometers away. "I want to climb the Rock of Gibraltar."
