I'm a Rotterdam‑based writer and illustrator who creates LGBT+ science fantasy that explores chaotic characters in a world reshaped by climate disruption and energy. I write for fun and to create stories I'd want to read. Still learning as I go.
I've reviewed and improved formatting in the chapters. Also, looking at what I've published until now, I see I need to add more art (or am I wrong?).
From now on, I also decided to release chapters every Wednesday and Friday. I admit I got tired of having editing and posting planned for the weekends. I understand there's a button 'schedule,' but I used it a few times, and for me it felt disconnected. I mean, it felt like I prepared chapters, fired, and forgot.
Here on Tapas, I’m sharing a story I wrote a while back. I’ve taken the lessons forward and am now drafting something messier, more flawed. The core of this story is its characters: love that’s freely given versus love that’s forced. Naturally, it’s queer‑centered. It follows three men entangled in an odd triangle.
That’s just one angle. On another front, I’m expanding the worldbuilding: the backstory and the mechanics of the science‑fantasy setting I sketched months ago. It’s getting increasingly detailed, and I hope readers find it immersive once it’s finished.
Currently, I’m practicing drawing Crystals, one of the two energy sources in my world. Take a look at this one ◊
Taj truly loves to dance. Soon, he'll perform his special dance, the one he calls 'dance to death.' I create B&W art for my stories, though I'm experimenting with color too. I need to learn a lot still.
