A wave of solace washed over Athan. In this minor instance, he felt the biggest amount of accomplishment he had ever experienced, nerves finally calming down, shoulders unstiffened, breathing reverted to normal and overall, his whole being was shrouded with relief and fulfilment. After all the misfortunes and predicaments, this was a rather rewarding victory.

  Athan warmly rubbed his friend’s thick white fur and gave him the berry he was so eagerly working towards acquiring. With nothing holding them back anymore, they began advancing forward, their journey to the far beyond had only just started…

  It was a long and arduous road that stretched in front of our dear companions. They traversed mountains and fields, squeezed through canyons and gorges, crossed all types of environments, be it desert or arctic, experienced extreme weather conditions, from scorching heat to frozen tundra and of course, they discovered lots of different creatures and seeds.

  The human realm was truly vast and it appeared that no matter how far they traveled there was invariably something new to uncover. As always, their greatest allies were the blazing star that shone the path during the day and the shiny dots that painted the canvas of the night. 

  Day after day, side by side, from one season to another, the two companions voyaged valiantly, expanding their knowledge and understanding of the world, absorbing every little bit of information they could find. Nothing was able to stop them in their tracks... well… almost nothing.

  There would be times where the situation could get kinda grim. Sometimes Athan would go on to consume something that was clearly NOT made for human consumption, making his stomach growl in pain and his insides shiver -needless to say, he took that into account for later-. Other times, he would graze his skin against harsh surfaces and get cut or shredded, but thanks to his heavenly protection he fortunately was able to recover, thought it was kind of time consuming.

   Whether the circumstances where favorable or not, even if the road ahead seemed uncertain, our fellow travelers always managed to find a way out of trouble and persisted on to wherever fate would lead them next. 

  Unbeknownst to them, their next destination was going to change the whole course of their travels, forever…
