Ark spin-off Adventures of Silver Saint

CROWN hero agency branches (Lore episode 2)

CROWN hero agency branches (Lore episode 2)

Jul 14, 2025

Note: CROWN is just one hero agency, and there are approximately hundreds. They are just the largest coalition that does international work. Also, since CROWN is so large, each branch actually works independently of each other and could be argued to be a separate team entirely. CROWN also does not cover the entire world. They do not operate in Southern Africa, South Asia, or the most Southern regions of South America. This is because CROWN was founded in pretty such and can only operate in the northern hemisphere. Several countries within their geographic area opted out of their intervention entirely. It is illegal for them to get involved in certain situations in certain countries. Unfortunately does not stop them from trying. Each branch of the hero agency is named after a type of poison because its founders are weird. They also wanted to show a connection to the Ark dragon of the heart, which was prophesied to have poison-like powers. The prophecy ended up being accurate because Éadaoin, when they incarnated, did have poison powers. They also named themselves over magical objects they do not have the crowns. Which are the 18 magical gemstones created by Seraph.

Cadmium 1869
The most powerful branch of CROWN is located in what used to be Peru and Brazil. The reason they're considered the most powerful branch of CROWN is that they've established so much influence that they have actively prevented new immortals from coming from South America. They were actively started as a colonial project. Though the public is not fully aware of it, they are entirely evil. They only create heroes to exploit others and cripple their economies. As the most powerful hero organization in the world and its most powerful branch, they have scary control over the other branches. Though each Branch operates separately, Cadmium has been caught spying on the other branches of CROWN.

They have essentially made it impossible for magic users to create new immortal thrones in the region. This has also crippled the region, forcing it to become dependent on Cadmium. They also hold the director's chair over the entire organization. They have the most hidden black sites out of any hero agency.

Radon founded 1860
What used to be the most powerful and influential branch of CROWN has lost its influence. Which is especially depressing considering they were founded by the first hero generally recognized, Peri D'Amboise.

They still maintain their hero building in Platinum City, which acts as the City Hall of the largest magical city in the world. Radon no longer has its physical influence, but still retains a major political influence in the region. Though it fails to compete with the new hero agencies founded in the region, like ShadowSaint Guild, and other companies that own hero teams like Four Seasons Media.

Oxalic acid 1900
It was created to help protect North African countries from diamond mining. They originally went by a completely different name and were completely separate from CROWN. Their original name was Almasi Vipers.

Oxalic is considered the only good branch of CROWN by a lot of skeptics of the hero agency. They are also the most responsible. Oxalic also helped loosely build another federation in Southern Africa called Constellation, which runs completely independently but tends to help with Oxalic operations due to an alliance.

Westeria founded 1942

It was originally founded as a way to combat Japan after the attack on Pearl Harbor, to prevent Japan from obtaining magical technology. Though they were founded with this instrumental and compassionate goal, they would soon stray from it. Westeria, interestingly enough, seems to be the most dominant hero agency throughout East Asia despite being unpopular. Every time a new hero agency appears in the region that makes too much of a name for itself, it mysteriously goes missing.

Eventually, as their use changed, they moved farther north, focusing more on Northeast Asia. Despite their heroic facade, they have actively been instrumental in the oppression of many countries in East Asia. Their headquarters are unknown. They are the most mysterious branch of CROWN, with no one they have arrested ever escaping their facilities except for Kina.

Nightshade founded 1867
The third most powerful Branch behind Cadmium and Westeria. Mainly focuses on Northwestern Europe. Has heavy connections to what used to be the United Kingdom and France. Unfortunately, the organization has a terrible reputation in what used to be Germany. This is because they have mishandled several terrorist attacks in the region.

Started as the magical operations branch of Scotland Yard. Their major location is in Golden London.
