interesting thing: both alien languages spoken in this chapter use Subject Object Verb structure. This wasn't intentional, just something I noticed after the fact. Apparently that's the structure my brain defaults to for language, despite english (the only language I speak fluently) being Subject Verb Object. Weird, huh?
Oh also every word they say has a specific meaning, it's not just gibberish, even though it would make no actual difference if it was, I just like thinking about languages and stuff.
