Alister arrived at Shackles tower and quickly stored his motorcycle behind a large sheet of metal. Moving aside some wood planks he slips into the building, the darkness enveloping him. Alister reaches up and clicks a button on the side of his mask, the lenses illuminating the dark with night vision. “I need to hurry up, it may not be very scientific but this place really does drive people to madness.” Alister muttered walking through the dark. Shackles tower brings back some painful memories as Alister passes by several rooms on his way up the tower.
Quickly looking around, Alister slid open a large metal door closing it behind him, the room he entered always reminded him of a horror movie. Hooked chains hung from the ceiling, blood stained the walls and several tables dyed red littered the room. Walking to the far side of the wall, Alister shouldered a leaning table out of the way to reveal an old elevator shaft. Alister entered the elevator and started pressing numbers in what seemed like a random order. The lights began to hum as they dimly turned on, the elevator slowly rising through the tower.
Floor thirty, the condemned psycho wing, Alister's home away from home. Turning on some lights, he takes off his mask as he starts to hook up his computer monitors. “These computers are so old at this point, I need to remember to make some upgrades to them soo-” a noise from behind stopped Alister mid-sentence as he quickly turned around with his gun drawn. A little rat began to chitter and run away after realizing it had been spotted, Alister let out a sigh as he sat down on a swivel stool. “I hate this place so much, the pain it's caused everyone. The nightmares Tesla has.” Alister said, but he shook his head knowing he couldn't dwell on this right now.
Hooking up a laptop to his main computer, he began to access his files as a small group of monitors started up. Outside of the tower, several security camera lights lit up red as they turned on. “Nobody is here yet so I should be safe for now, I don't think anybody would rat my location out of fear of Emerald but those two mercs couldn't have known where I lived,” Alister muttered as he brought up their images. The man in a sun based outfit came up with a match in the Fabuloso data base, as Ash Contor aka Apollo. “A mercenary with a one hundred percent success rate on any and every job he's taken.” Alister read while thinking to himself that there's a first for everything.
“What about his partner?” Alister asked himself as he the computer began looking through the database. A ding let him know that a match had been found, but the results caused Alister to stand up, his chair falling over from the sudden movement. “No, that can't be possible! There's no way I saw what happened!" Alister said, staring in horror and shock. Before he could react an arrow lodged itself into the computer monitor as a voice behind Alister said, “Man you may be slippery but I always get my target!” Apollo and Esdeath stood in the door way, weapons drawn and aimed at Alister.
